Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

So I paid about $26 and I got a cold turkey and it was like no meat on it like I don’t know what is going on but since I was a kid, I love Capriotti sandwiches, but it was more coleslaw and sauce than anything. the meat is what makes it really good It’s kind of ridiculous.smh

We ordered a cheese steak with cheese and 1/2 onion. Nothing else.
Get home and it's got mushrooms nope I can't do them so I called and they come automatic on there steaks?? We'll it's NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Sick and TIRED OF THE EXCUSES FROM CAPS .
Orders keep getting screwed up there.
I'll go to McDonald's at least then I'll get what I want. The 1 on Main st. in Newark isn't much better had made orders at the counter and the cook there can't read orders there as well.
My recommendation go somewhere else other than Capiotti's.

I ordered a sandwich with only turkey cheese and salt and pepper and get it home to find that they put mayo on it. So now a $23.00 sandwich is trash since I can't have eggs. really disappointed that I drove over an hour just for it and get it home and its wrong.

I had a great sandwich, on their $10.99 lunch special (water and chips included). The equivalent of a roast beef special....I don't remember the name - but it was delicious! The staff there were very friendly.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others: do not waste your time or money at this place if you’re expecting anything close to a real cheesesteak. I ordered a cheesesteak and was genuinely shocked when I opened it — there was barely any steak inside. It felt like they ran out of meat and tried to pass off scraps as a full sandwich.

For the price I paid, this was borderline insulting. Against my better judgement, I called to give them a chance to rectify the situation, and was told that’s the portion size and there’s nothing they could do. If you’re looking for an actual cheesesteak, look elsewhere. This place either doesn’t understand the concept or just doesn’t care. Save your appetite and your money.

The subs are getting less and less meat every time I order. For the price I really would like to eat more than bread. It's disappointing, and no beginning to be a waste of money. Please fix this!!!

That chicken cheesesteak was so soggy. I literally walked out the door and ate it in my car. How can it eat soggy that fast? It didn’t taste all that good either. So I think I will rethink going back. The last time the guy at the counter seemed beside himself and turned me off. The young lady that took my order today was professional and pleasant.

This is the last time I go to this one by the hospital this is it never in life will I ever spend any money here. Every other location actually serves you a hoagie this place serves you a roll with mayo and lettuce and light meat when I called I asked if they can put some meat on it the young lady on the phone told me we put meat on all of our sandwiches. Done never again will I spend a cent over here.

This place let me down. I love Capriotti’s, but this isn’t a great one to stop at. They definitely practice portion control here. I definitely felt the turkey sub could have actually had a bit more turkey on it. It was mostly comprised of cole slaw and heaping amount of sauces. Meh.
