Bought a bowl earlier today and a bobby pin turned out when I mixed it then I went back to complain and request a refund and when I showed the bowl to one of the workers her eyes widened & she immediately touched her hair as if it might’ve been hers & she was the one who made my bowl, then another worker came up and they both acted like they were clueless how a BOBBY PIN turned up in my food. Disgusting, and no cleanliness whatsoever.

I asked for a Veggie bowl instead when I went to eat it I found chicken pieces in my black beans. Needs to be more careful with contamination of foods. Very disappointing seeing this type of careless behavior from chipotle.

Here I am, with my good buddy ol pal driving home from South Carolina. We had just experienced a glorious week on a golf trip before the 4th of July back in 2024. The vibes were high and we intended to keep it that way. We were on our way back to Rhode Island and needed some nourishment for the rest of the ride home (we both did not sleep or stop except to get gas and piss). This was the only true stop of our 16 hour drive.
Well, as passenger it was my duty to find us food. This chipotle right off 95 seemed to be a solid option. We walked in on that beautiful late June night, sun just setting, and ordered it up. These chipotle bowls were the most impressive thing we’ve ever laid our eyes on. It was great service, fresh, and hit the spot. I mean when you think chipotle, this is the stuff you dream of. Freshly made guac, crispy chicken, nice fluffy rice. I mean this was just a show stopper. We discussed briefly how excellent they were and went on our way and made it back home that night/morning.
Here we are fast forwarding to 2026, still talking about these bowls. Life hasn’t been the same whatsoever. We had to see if this place was still kicking. We have no idea how this place is only 3.9 stars. If I could give it 10/5 I would. We both have dreams about these bowls and no Chipotle in the US has compared. Although they are all terrific, this one just did the trick. We’ll never forget you chipotle of Delaware.

This Chipotle location in Newark, DE has very professional staff members that handle customers order with accuracy and care. The staff work very fast paced and work well together. The food was delicious but a little pricey, in my opinion. Keep up the good work 👍

Always yummy! But a few weeks ago they didn't have Pico and said it was because someone forgot to prep it that morning. How does that happen? By 5pm someone should have prepped it.

Several things wrong this visit. Placed an online order, wasn't ready at the scheduled pickup time. Had to wait several minutes for the order to be ready. Then they did not have the chimichurri sauce that I already paid for online but she substituted queso which was acceptable. But the worst part of the entire thing was when we got home to eat our food it was discovered that all of the rice in all 3 meals had copius amounts of salt not even mixed in, like someone had dumped salt into the rice, didn't mix it in, and then scooped the salt and rice into our bowls. Literally got a mouthful of salt with the spoonful of rice. Food unedible and too far and inconvenient to run back to ask for a replacement or refund. Not happy and very dissatisfied.
