They serve one of the best sauces i have found for your hotdogs. It has a slight spice and such good flavor. The staff is always so friendly. They offer bottled drinks as well as a soda machine. The bathroom was clean everytime I've used it. I love the deerhead fries. They have a tv s and retro chair and tables.

Reasonably priced food to go (although there are tables there).

I haven't been here in about 15+ years. Walking in here was like a time capsule; exactly how I remembered it. I used to come here as a kid with my grandparents.

Love Deerhead hotdogs. Looking forward to picking up my order after work today. Pack of 10 single dogs. Only thing I asked for was for the sauce, mustard and onions in containers. Sad to say all condiments were on each dog. I and my 2 grandsons do not eat onions. I had to scrap off the onions and In doing so I lost most of the sauce. Disappointed.

I Love DeerHead Hot Dogs It's been a staple in my family since I was a little kid. My dad always reminded me that the original was a bar Maryland avenue location is great. Love the atmosphere service a plus but the Newark location on the other hand was horrible. Me and my son rushed there on a cold winter night to get some food perfectly. Making sure we showed up there at 6:25 plenty of time before closing at 7:00 just to be told that they weren't doing anymore dining in orders because they were closed even though it says online that they close at 7:00. So fine. We ordered hot dogs to go and with fries but yet they had no more fries. Sure that was total BS. They just didn't want to make any more fries at night? Very disappointing and infuriating. They need to do better. Step it up! Newark change your hours online if that's what you need to do. Don't kick me out when I get there 35 minutes before closing

Nice spot for a decent meal. Try their special sauce on the hot dog. Their Ruben is one of the best too.
