We waited for 46 min after being told the wait was 10 min. We were seated in a booth and the seat had a 12 inc tear and exposed foam and crumbs .Server was fast and accommodating but the food wasn’t prepared properly . We asked for med rare lamb chops and received raw chops . The gooey bread was delivered last after all food was out .
My eggs and shrimp Benedict over grits was delicious. Bathrooms were dirty . Could be a great place with betting management !

I'm so disappointed that I need to change this formerly 5 star review (old review below).

The menu has been revamped, and in that process, many of the vegetarian- friendly options have been removed, including the ability to swap a vegetarian protein for the various breakfast meats. There are no longer any vegetarian substitutions.

The prices are no longer excellent, either. Today, I paid $17 for a just-ok omelet and potatoes that, despite having the same name they used to, are no longer nearly as good as they used to be.

This may be a function of it being a Sunday morning, but it was so loud in there that I could barely carry on a conversation.

My previous review is below. I'm hoping that the management will consider revising the menu to make it more flexible for vegetarians and others with dietary restrictions.

OLD REVIEW

Very relaxed atmosphere and an amazing menu! There were plenty of vegetarian options, and they can even add a Beyond Burger to omelets! Prices are very reasonable. Service was excellent, but it was a slow Monday morning, so that may differ during a weekend brunch rush.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're going to breakfast with people who have dietary restrictions.

Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options and no substitutions available.

Found a hair in my meal and did not comp it for me. Never been to a place that’s done that. I don’t typically leave reviews but that always bothers me, be aware!

Wasn't eggspecting sour whole milk in cappuccino and utensils that need an extra scrubbing... Service was prompt to correct these on the spot so pleasant dining overall. How can you improve? Well, drink and eat your cooks meals and then compare it with your competition. Do you want to set a standard or are you just meeting subpar to get along?

Horrible!! Took my Stepmom there for a birthday brunch (her first visit, and last) Waited 45 mins at the table for our order. Waitress came over several times and apologize for the wait. She explained the problem was with the kitchen. Eggspectations bought a software called Toast and while one part of the kitchen received the order the other part does not, so the order is not complete to be brought out. She also explained there were STILL three orders ahead of ours to fill. So, she brought out fries and bread ( nothing that we ordered). Part of our meal came out and it was greasy & overcooked. The waitress saw the food and decided to comp the meal, she was SO frustrated as well. The waitress still got paid. My stepmom now has those birthday memories.

This was my first time to the restaurant and from start to finish I definitely & thoroughly enjoyed myself. We were celebrating a birthday and the service was phenomenal. Alyse R. was amazing, very attentive, personable and made the experience one to not forget. I think I found my new brunch spot, as the pricing was reasonable. ?

Indoor and outdoor dining options. The outdoor patio is pleasant but overlooks parking lot/driveway. Menu has multiple selections for breakfast/brunch with gluten-free options, offers multiple flavors of mimosas with pitcher options for sharing. Wait staff are friendly and check in sufficiently without rushing. I had a crab and shrimp omelet. The portion is generous and comes with a side of potatoes. The flavor was good.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options

Kid-friendliness: Highchair and carseat holders available for little ones

Eggspectation in Christiana is a really nice place to have breakfast. At the suggestion of a family member we ended up stopping here for first time and in the spur of the moment. The server Juliana started off and continued being pleasant the entire time. She happily had the chef remake the blueberry pancake without the powdered sugar topping. In fact they even added an extra bonus pancake in a nice "to-go" box.

Eggspectation gives hefty food portions too. One area is more of a sports bar with big flat screen TVs. Try the blueberry pancake with a drizzle of maple syrup. Also the French vanilla-hazelnut coffee is deliciously smooth. Parking is plentiful. You'll be glad you stopped by. 5 Spoon ? ? ???
GOD BLESS the entire staff!

Overpriced tasteless food. Ambiance is great and the service is alright too. We literally had to use ketchup to make it edible. Absolutely not worth it. Also, the coffee tastes like water with color in it. Go to first-watch.

Were out enjoying a great dinning breakfast, then the check came and this is written on the bottom off it. I don't know why this is bothering me so much but it is, so I did what was asked but for only 15% not the 20% I usually do. Luckily my wife had a few dollars on her. ( who carries cash ) maybe I'm being petty.

We visited on 10/19/24. Normally I just allow my husband to review places but this experience calls for this review. I will say first and foremost the host is probably one of the only positives she came over was nice and even allowed us to have a different booth to help with space for my infant. Our server came over did not even make eye contact was looking down and simply said something and all that was able to make out was about drinks.... when it was asked about the drinks she cared to not answer and then before I even drank my soda my husband noticed that it was Pepsi products which was NEVER said by our server. When we pointed it out she said no that's wrong it's coke...... my husband drank my drink because it ABSOLUTELY was Pepsi and if she had been more receptive I would have just gone with a different option but didn't even care to address it cause of her poor attitude. When my husband asked for recommendations for appetizer and entrees you could tell that we were bothering her with the inconvenience and didn't really give anything except lot of people get this or this. She even decided to go over to the bar and talk crap on us with her little friends... how I know all 3 proceeded to look at us... our food the calamari was crispy and the jalapeños were the yummiest part with the yogurt based sauce however lacked the depth of seasoning that would truly bring the dish to it's ultimate level. The salmon crostinis had decent salmon, a good balance of ratio but needed a splash of something to enhance the dish. I got the ducky benny... I am a major lover of duck if made right and Benedict is my fave. However this dish I will not be ordering again... the food was warm at best but I wasn't trying to complain... not that the server would have cared... my sister's eggs were ice cold on her food and the kitchen manager immediately rectified that but couldn't address anything else with him because of course when my husband was speaking to him all of a sudden our waitress was right there next to them and trying to act like she cares. I love all the photos on line but it truly fell very flat in the execution at the restaurant.... my normal 3 strike rule will be a immediate cross off my list for this restaurant.... and mind you... I picked going there and then spent the whole car ride home apologizing for picking there.
