Ordered large hot chocolate. Was charged 50 cents extra. Cup wasn't even filled halfway. Disappointed.

Ordered a sandwich, they made it incorrectly. I asked them to remake my sandwich, however, I did not take a bite of the sandwich I only had to look at it to see it was wrong. They wanted me to give the sandwich back so that they could throw it away and they refused to make a new one unless I gave the other one back. I explained that throwing away a perfectly untouched sandwich was wasteful and unethical and that I would like to keep the incorrect sandwich, ( there was a homeless/ less fortunate person outside that I wanted give it to instead). The manager comes out now and I hand him my sandwich to show him it’s the wrong thing, and then proceed to tell him that I wanted to keep it instead of them throwing it away. He then gives me a huge attitude stating that I can’t have two sandwiches if I only pay for one. His final words were “ I rather throw away then let you have it”. He then proceeds to throw it out right after stating this. This was a very nasty and unpleasant experience for such a simple situation. As a student at UD trying to get by while also intending to help others I was appalled by the level of rudeness here.
Best cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time! Bagels are good too!

I ordered a mocha with whipped cream which was too sweet. It was unbearably sweet - you could not even drink it. So I asked the staff to redo it and they gave me attitude. I asked for 3 pumps and no whipped cream. I told them that this was because the whipped cream was too sweet especially with how sweet the drink was. Staff then began to explain condescendingly the option of not choosing whipped cream, which i already knew about. The lady who handed me my drink did so with an attitude. Not coming here next time. The only reason I gave it 3 instead of was bcs they accepted to redo my drink…
The bagels aren't that bad. A little pricey in my opinion, but for the sake of convenience, it's worth it.
The coffee and bagels are very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and wait times are usually pretty short or nonexistent.
Ask for extra cream cheese if you want evidence that cream cheese was put on your bagel.
Just as an FYI, for the 2021-2022 academic year this Einstein Bros. only accepts orders by students, faculty, and staff of UDel. You can only make those orders through the grubhub app. It's an Einstein Bros, so it's about the quality you'd expect. They're housed within the first floor of the ISE building. The staff are super friendly and hard-working but when there's a rush before and after classes, you may have to wait upwards of 20 minutes. However, if you order through grubhub you can set it for pickup when you get out of class. Very convenient!

Typical einstein bagels, nothing new or authentic here
The tastiest bagels ever !
I think they should stay opened for the summer; they are only opened during the school terms now. Conveniently located for students and staff around ISE, though it must be admitted that things are comparably expensive. The staff at this Einstein's chain are real friendly and they try to remember what you like if you go often enough =))

I greatly enjoyed the bagels
