I’ve visited a lot of Chinese takeout restaurants since moving here that would give me the nostalgia of NYC Chinese.
Empire has come out on top as my favorite one in the area. It is not close to home but I go out of my way to pickup food from here. The taste is always on point and the food always hot and fresh.

This place is the best in the area for Chinese food! The portion sizes are very generous, the quality of the food is excellent, and everything I've had here has been absolutely delicious, which is a wonderful surprise, especially given the reasonable prices. Big generous chunks of premium chicken in all their chicken dishes, and both the wonton soup and the scallion pancakes are utterly addictive. My personal favorite, though, is their beef lo mein.
I've tried a couple other Chinese takeout places around here, but none of them have even come close to Empire and I find myself coming back once every week or two.
Parking: Easy to park as it's in a strip mall. Always lots of spots available.

I love this place... the dishes are really satisfying, the portions are big, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely my go-to Chinese restaurant in the Elkton area. I highly recommend trying out their scallion / onion pancakes and their wonton soup in particular, which are absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I stumbled across this place after moving here a few months ago... I've tried a couple other Chinese restaurants, but nothing comes anywhere close to Empire for me, and their online ordering system is so easy and convenient.
