My best friend's family and I took her to First Watch for a birthday brunch and were very disappointed at the Christiana (Geoffrey Drive) location. The server, although nice, wasn't equipped to service a larger crowd. We waited for over 40 minutes for the food, received it piecemeal and it came out cold (2x) for some of our party. There was no priority given after the food was sent back and my friend didn't end up getting any food. I had to request the manager from a server (who wasn't ours) and I'm not convinced he even knew how to handle - "not sure what happened, but it shouldn't have". Part of our party got comp discounts for the next visit, but, I am not so sure there should be one at this location. FirstvWatch Christiana do better!

We were seated near the bathroom, which had a terrible odor. My food, including the potatoes, was burnt, though the Purple Haze drink was enjoyable. The waitress was overly friendly to the point of feeling insincere, which made the experience overall very strange.

I am writing this review while I am still sitting on my table. I got water and coffee after 25 minutes. The food order has not arrived after 45 minutes. I come to first watch frequently and this is by far the worst experience I have had. Terrible!! This is the first time I visited this location and it was not the best experience.

I recently visited First Watch and was very disappointed with how they handled a minor seating issue. We had swapped an uncomfortable wooden chair for a cushioned one, as it seemed like a reasonable adjustment for comfort. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem to agree. The waiter made my sister get up, only to replace her chair with an identical one from across the room – a confusing and unnecessary ordeal.
Their strictness over such a small matter felt petty, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t crowded. It’s surprising they would prioritize “chair combinations” over customer comfort. Overall, a frustrating experience over something so insignificant. We expected better treatment from the staff.

The online wait-line system is pointless and useless if still have to wait in line for 40 minutes when show up at the door. The place is not worth wasting Saturday morning time.

My food was amazing but not as good as my server he was very polite and soft spoken but made sure that my food was 1000% correct ! He's a great addition to the Christiana first watch team I am a frequent diner and have had most of the servers and he is awesome !
