Bathrooms at 5pm no one in restaurant smelled like piss basically floor in bathroom and on sales floor so sticky my shoes almost came off. Piss smell could be smelled with in 20 ft outside. Been eating at Grottos for since I was a kind. Shane on this one not that you care. Food warm. No service in site. And disappointing. Oh no hand blower or paper towel dispenser in bathroom. Torn off wall.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The pizza arrived cold, and the quality of the ingredients was noticeably poor. The crust and toppings had a bland, almost cardboard-like taste, which made it hard to enjoy even a few bites.
For the price, I expected something fresher and more flavorful. Unfortunately, this just didn’t meet basic expectations for pizza. I won’t be ordering again unless there’s a significant improvement in quality and freshness

Ordered through DoorDash. My poor driver had to wait 20 minutes for the pizza to be ready so I tipped him extra.
I was hoping the wait was do to popularity just being busy but once I tasted the pizza I can only think incompetence at the business.
The pizza arrived well handled. Unfortunately the taste is worse than a Red Barron at 4 times the price. The crust tastes either frozen or living in the fridge for many days. Cheese has 0 flavor. Sauce tastes of tomato paste and nothing else. Pepperoni might as well not even be there. Maybe US foods bulk ultra cheap pepperoni? I’ve never tasted anything like this.
All in all it looked like a cheap version of a blaze pizza. The taste reminded me of my youth when McDonald’s offered those pizza happy meals. Cardboard and concentrated tomatoes. 0 other flavors.
Final word. Order little ceaser. It’s disgusting but about the same as this and I could have gotten 3 pizzas for the same price.

The bar can take over the restaurant making things loud and less than family friendly at times. Great food, friendly service. I almost always get the cheese pizza. In some ways, it is the taste of the beach for me. Takes me back to the days when they were only in Rehoboth.
We stopped in for lunch. Ordered pizza and French fries.

A bartender accused me of being “aggressive” because I had asked for a food menu. I chose to eat elsewhere when he asked for my order 15 mins later (obviously), and he said “that’s shocking considering how aggressive you were asking for the menu.” Ridiculous. Maybe I could have been considered “loud” because my voice tends to carry, but nothing about my facial expression or tone should have been interpreted as “rude”. I was literally out for a drink and a bite with family because I am in town for a funeral. Another bartender served us a drink afterwards, and we only let him because he was kind to us.

$14 wedge salad and we received literally just wedges and a small amount of bacon bits and half an egg. It was absurd. Next time we’ll just buy 5 hearts of romaine for less. From 6 people who ordered tonight, the overall vote was “not good.” 2 stars because it took 20 minutes from order to delivery, which makes a lot of sense.

Our food came out warm.
I love the little details in their d cor, from the lighting to the artwork.
The menu had both classics and new dishes.
Not the fastest bar service with a 30% full bar. Ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza ($3.75/piece - Which is craaaazy) and ate it there and it was lukewarm at best. Also, $9/each for Surfsides when they run $2/piece cost ... Crazy.
