Unequivocally, the best halal food you can get here! Their white sauce, that you can buy hand-made by the bottle, is the best we’ve tasted at a halal store/food-truck/cart. If you like middle eastern food, even a little bit, or kids that just likes French fries, don’t hesitate to order from here! The food, flavors, portion-size, and price can’t be beat. They encouraged us to customize the food any way we wanted! So, also great for picky kids.
The kitchen & store was/is impeccably clean. The staff are so nice! When you enter, the staff instantly treats you like habibi—it feels like being welcomed into a home, and they truly care about you!
Our party remarked both at how incredibly reasonable the price was and how amazing the food was. My brother pointed out that when I took my first bite, my eyes literally go wide & lit up. Our party kept remarking on how good the meal was for the rest of our day.
I ordered the chicken gyro w/ fries and customized it with Tika chicken. We also got the tilapia gyro, falafel gyro, and onion rings & mozzarella sticks (both come with white sauce, instead of marinara, which we were hesitant, until trying). We went back and got a bottle of white sauce to use at home for everything.
The flavor had uncountable amounts of flavors and was perfectly cooked & spiced; no ingredient or spice overpowered another, but you can taste them all. The french fries are also always the perfect crispiness, that somehow only the best truly authentic middle eastern/halal shops, can get them to be.
Absolutely incredible! All the money is put towards the food and cleanliness with the semi-open kitchen.
The portion size for a single gyro is huge! Everyone in our group exclaimed how much food each of us got! It was large enough that most could only eat about half and was able to reheat the rest. So 2 meals, for ~$13. Absolutely nothing compares!
I can’t recommend them enough; go enjoy your meal!

They have a small seating area and close before the posted time. They are located in a college town where most college students don’t go out until 12-3am. Also most places have adapted that before closing policy dictates they must serve customers. But this place closes up to an hour before our post time. If I go there again and they are closed before closing time I will have to take my business elsewhere. Because that is extremely disrespectful to post a closing time and never refuse service before that time unless the person is aggressive or rude certain cities, and states actually have laws that restaurants must serve customers if they are not being rude and you can actually be fined or shut down for refusing service if it is before closing time.

This place is amazing. I have never had a single bad experience here. Owners are wonderful as well. I could easily drink their white sauce. I found this place while I went to college and anytime I’m in the Newark area, I stop by for a lamb gyro.
Walked in and instantly greeted by the friendliest guy! Helped us choose what was most popular as we are not from around here. Food came out quick and portion was huge! Tastes amazing and now we have leftovers! Yay!
