Well they charged 15.00 a person to get in to see the band… then have 2 bartenders on duty.. took at least 20 minutes to get a drink! No where to sit…. And the bartenders are very rude! If you are selling tickets in advance and know you’re gonna be very busy… PAY FOR EXTRA HELP!! It was the 9th anniversary of halftime… BET YA THERE WONT BE A TENTH!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Drinks are ridiculous expensive. Tap beer was 8 bucks. Nothing extraordinary. Fountain soda 3.50. Go full and not thirsty

Great place to shoot pool and meet awesome people that enjoy the sport... don't come here to drink.. 10 bucks for a shot (which is the size of medicine cup) 8 bucks for a cider.... another bar 10 minutes away get double the size for half the price and food. Drink first!!

I've been here a few times. Their seltzer options are limited. No White Claw or Truly. The first couple times there, the barmaid was friendly but not very attentive. It took a bit to get her attention to get another drink and to close my tab. It could have been because I was at the far end of the bar.
They do not serve food but they do allow you to bring in food. There are restaurants next door.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Halftime Sport Bar in Newark, Delaware! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for catching a game or unwinding after work. The service is top-notch, and their menu offers a great selection of drinks and tasty bites. Definitely a five-star spot!

Emo night was a blast and I wish there were more events like this going on there. It was a little expensive of a cover when first getting in and the bar was overwhelmed with a few membered staff. Drinks were affordable and quick, but the biggest damper was the gentlemen playing pool all night and pushing my friends and I around when we were trying to stay against the wall at the stools so we could keep our pizza at the table.

Great music venue. Clean. Good service. Pool tables. If they sold food I didn’t see it!

Always have a good time. They get some great bands in there. They defiantly need more help behind the bar, the bartender was doing her best to keep up. They also need more seating around/near the stage for live music nights. But it is a small local bar and their pool tables take up the whole right side of the place so I'm sure it's hard to figure out how to add to the extra seating and tables just on nights that they have live music. This bar does not have a kitchen. You can bring in food.
