The hostess and server were great, very friendly. The food was OK, sadly the mac & cheese had no flavor and the grilled cheese hardly had any cheese, but lots of sprouts. The Greek salad was pretty good. And the boneless wings were small and dry.

Green mold on food We found green mold covering the bottom of the corn bread that was in the middle of my wife's “smoked pork ribs” dish. The server and manager came quickly to our table to apologize and change the plate. I wanted to leave but my wife asked my family and I to stay and give them the chance to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the green mold created an uneasy feeling in all of us and ruined our early dinner since we all started scrutinizing every bite of our own dishes and thinking our food was also not safe. This does not have anything to do with the server (not his fault).

Becca was our server, and she was wonderful! We had the nachos and they were delicious! I also ordered the BLT with vegan bacon, and it was really good.
This was a birthday lunch. I had their mushroom soup (highly recommend). It was a bit thick today (think pudding-like), but it was still absolutely delicious! I brought my mother-in-law and it was her first time there. She got the apple salad and was very impressed. They had forgotten the brie, but once they were reminded, they promptly brought a separate dish of brie. It really does transform that salad, and she was so happy to have it. She will definitely be a new returning customer.

We enjoyed a wonderful brunch today. All of us enjoyed our food— from the chicken & waffles to the shrimp and grits, and the Rueben Benedict. Tasty! Not fancy, just great food. The place was bustling. Too noisy for our preference, but the service and food made up for the noise. We will return.

We always have a fantastic experience at Home Grown. The menu is perfect for my daughter who is gluten-free and for us who don't need those restrictions. The staff is knowledgeable about the gluten-free sensitivities and extremely friendly! It has become our go to when we are in town.
