My recent dine
in experience was affected by a lack of professional service. The server was on a personal phone call while taking our order and dropping off food, and failed to check on our table during the meal. As a loyal customer, I hope this can be addressed.

Delightful Indian restaurant in Newark DE! Tried this gem for lunch and was blown away. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was fast and professional. Staff was friendly and helpful. The chicken shawarma was the highlight for me personally. Love how you can adjust the level of spice/heat of each dish! Will return to further explore the menu soon!

Ordered mutton biryani few days back. I had the worst experience. Never had a biryani like this. No spice, no masala, salty biryani. Could have gave 0 stars but I don't have the option. Even the quantity was not enough. I prefer not to visit this restaurant again. Hope they consider this and serve some food with good taste and in good quantity.

We have dined here many times. For some reason anytime you order naan for takeout, they change up the naans. Ordered here last night and they gave us frozen packet naans reheated. Such a shame. On top of that they are charging for the price of naan they would make in a tandoor. Very disappointing. Will not be ordering here again.

I called numerous times to speak to manager or owner and I was getting different stories from different employees as to why he cannot call me. So I went in and got a refund on the naans

We are regulars here and it didn't disappoint today. We had the hyderabadi goat biryani, the chicken butter masala, and the murgh malai kebabs. Everything was fantastic but the murgh malai stole the show.

We came today here and we ordered goat fry biryani and chicken fry piece biryani and lollipops.

I’ve ordered the Apollo Fish, Butter Chicken Masala, and Goat Fry Bone-in Biryani, and everything was outstanding. The goat was especially juicy and tender. Service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. A great overall dining experience!

Had a terrible experience with food. I was in for dinner with family of about 10 people. Main course was served first and apps in the last. I was served frozen deep naan when I ordered naan and was charged insane for those frozen naans. I order goat pepper fry and I was served with just fat pcs where in not even one pc was eatable and
I had to return in right away proving it to the staff which they agreed on. Later to realize I was charged for the goat even tho it was not replaced and when I asked about it they said it is not refundable since I ordered it whether or not it is served. All in all a very bad experience as a food lover.

This was my first time here I go takeout.I got Gobi Manchuria,Lamb chops,Hot n sour soup,Goat haleem,Paneer tikka masala,Garlic naan & Cut mirchi Food was awesome and try to visit once again.

When we heard there was a restaurant serving southern Indian cuisine in Newark,we were very excited to try it for our first time.Yesterday we went and it was 5/5.The service was amazing.I tired chicken tikka kabeb,Mirapakay kodi vepudu,Andra chicken curry,Garlic naan and Chicken biryani.Everything was so yummy.

We will definitely be back and looking forward to try more new dishes next time!

Yesterday I have been to House of Biriyani with my family. This is the best Indian restaurant in Delaware. I order "Nelluru Chapala pulusu" yesterday, It was amazing. The taste of Chapala pulusu reminded my childhood days from Andhra and Telangana. Thank you so much for tastiest food.

Kid-friendliness: My kid enjoyed a lot yesterday. He loves HBK so much. Very kind and caring environment!! Thank you so much for the outstanding hospitality Gayathri madam and Team!

I love Indian food but this place is horrible, both food and service. I don’t understand the rating. The butter chicken tastes average but it made my stomach hurt and run to the bathroom instantly after two bites. Goat biryani has like three pieces of meat and a box full of dry rice.
Not to mention the service. I ordered thru Uber eats but less than five minutes upon placing the order, I called them to check if their butter chicken has nuts in it cos one of my family member has a nut allergy. They confirmed that it has nuts. So I asked the restaurant to cancel my order but they refused to? Mind you, this is all within five minutes of me placing the order so they couldn’t have already made it. They then called me twice to see if I canceled the order from my end because they want to charge me for the full but not providing me the food?

I hear good reviews from everyone about this place. Sadly I cannot go here because it's a halal certified restaurant. No options for people who don't want to eat Halal. Ironically, it is almost impossible to eat in an Indian restaurant if you don't want to eat Halal. I hope someone opens a Non-Halal Indian restaurant soon.
