just had lunch and ordered a few things. our food came out swiftly and everything was cooked to perfection. the restaurant was quiet, but peaceful. Kevin was our server and made us feel extremely welcome. he was super attentive, efficient, and just overall very kind. highly recommend requesting his service when dining at IHOP on Capitol Trail.

Went for dinner, around 5pm, for there to be only one server. Our food somehow was not put in when we ordered. Took 45min for it to come out. Usually, there is a low amount of waiters/resses, but the service wasn't this bad. Will go back, at a different time, and see how it is then.

Went to grab a late breakfast this morning and couldn’t believe the wait. We arrived at 11:35am and didn’t get served until almost 12:30pm!! I have never experienced that long of a wait anywhere. On top of that, our server barely acknowledged us during this time. I’m honestly shocked we received our drinks. Once the food came out, it was cold like it had been sitting on the line for the entire hour. The server said something about a new cook in training - not sure that Sunday is a great day to have a new employed on the line. Just sad over all. It’s eggs and pancakes… shouldn’t be this complicated.

Other servers were looking but not asking are we good or why we didn’t have food yet and being smart and only saw our server twice we got there @12:06 and didn’t get out till 2:50pm.

I miss being able to call the restaurant and order a pickup order. IHOP has made it incredibly difficult to order pickup. They don't answer the phone. Ordering online is complicated and in no way convenient. You can't order unless you have an IHOP account. IHOP has forgotten a very important rule of business: Make it easy for your customers to do business with you.

A smaller ihop restaurant, but well maintained. My only delima was getting into and out of the parking lot. There is a bit of construction going on. But to end on a good note, the Berry D Treasure French toast was awesome. Probably the biggest French toast slices I've ever seen! They also give a military discount.
