A fairly new Jersey Mike's awaits you at this location in Newark, DE. It's quiet and somewhat sterile but it's a chain after all. Service was fast and the restaurant is clean. Food was good and satisfying and as expected. Well satisfy the need for a hoagie or sub depending on whether you're from PA vs points south.

I highly recommend going to the location off of South College Avenue instead of this location. Ever Since this place opened a few years ago, they have had issues with not having an item because it was frozen. I frequent this chain a lot and I've never had that issue before. If this issue was isolated, I would understand but because this has happened more than twice, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I highly recommend the Mike's hot honey chicken cheese steak sandwich. Me and my girlfriend got it and a Italian. The combination of eating the hot sandwich first, with all its delicious flavor inside, perfect amount of sweet and spicy, then after eating the Italian to cool down our mouths. Perfection! 10/10. Very good store, good people, nice spot to go for a good sandwich, better than subway!

This is the 2nd time in the last week I have tried to come at 8:30 and the doors are locked. Don’t advertise 9 pm closing if your workers are too lazy and want to close up early. Ridiculous

I’ve been ordering from the Grove location for a while now, and have never had a complaint. However, my experience today has made me decide never to return. My cheesesteak was slopped together, there was more cheese and steak on the wrapper than inside the bread. And the bread was stale!!! I’ve never had stale bread from any Jersey Mike’s I’ve gone to around the country. I ask to have my sandwich cut I half, and it wasn’t cut at all. My sandwich was simply inedible, I had to throw it away. You should be ashamed of yourselves given something like that to a customer.

Awesome and easy experience! Had a craving and they fulfilled my needs in a quick fashion. Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a quick sub!
Sandwiches are always great quality, however they frequently have issues keeping up with the order volume. Everyone is very nice and helpful, but I will eat elsewhere if I’m in a pinch as sometimes I’ll be waiting a considerable amount of time after my pickup order was supposed to be ready. Just depends on the time of day.
The staff works fast, so this is not their fault - just a lot of orders.
