Genuinely phenomenal food, staff is great and on top of service. Great music and family owned! Best Korean restaurant I've been to. Highly recommend the kimchi pancakes with your meal!

We had a great meal there. A combination of Korean, Japanese, and other really special treats. It's a modest place but it has absolutely great food.

Three stars because the fried dumplings were delicious the shrimp Korean roll was dry and overly sticky and the avocado inside were going bad I do wish it came with any sort of sauce instead of just the packs of soy sauce I thought at least the Korean wings would come out ok But I definitely wouldn't return

Read good reviews but sadly wouldn't recommend. Food wasn't up to the mark & was quite expensive for the quantity offered. Service wasn't too great either.

Hwedupbap was what brought me in. They don't offer it anymore, but seriously people, if you like sushi you'll prefer Hwedupbap.

I came here with my sister and kids, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
• First, I asked for water with no ice, but all the drinks came with ice.
• My kids really liked the fish cake side dish, so I asked for a refill. One waitress was very kind and gave us more. My sister then tried it and wanted some too. When we asked another waitress (with curly hair) if we could get a little more, she said, “No, there is a limit for that.” A few minutes later, I noticed the same waitress serving a full refill of everything to another table (Korean customers). I was only asking for one side dish, but was told no, even after spending $65 before tips.
Other issues made the visit uncomfortable:
• The restaurant was hot, the AC was not on.
• The bathroom had no toilet paper — I had to open the cabinet myself and replace it.
• Another customer and employee were speaking very loudly in another language and sometimes throwing in curse words in English, which made the atmosphere unpleasant.
• While we were still eating, the curly-haired waitress tried to take away our plate.
• Water was never refilled unless we specifically asked.
Overall, this was not a welcoming experience. Good customer service should be consistent with all guests, not selective.

The chicken wings were delicious. Both crispy and tender. Just the way I like them. And they were tossed with an amazing sweet and tangy sauce. Highly recommend. The staff was friendly. I was offered a sample of the kimchi pickle salad while I waited for my take out order.

It was my first time at this spot, there is a server—tall and lean, she noticed we were chopstick newbies. She totally saved the day by crafting a makeshift pair for us! We ordered the samgyeopsal, fried shrimp kimbap, and spicy tuna kimbap. I was kind of expecting a grill-at-the-table situation for the samgyeopsal, but it came already cooked. No biggie, though, especially since the side dishes and pork belly were seriously amazing.
Our server was like a mind reader! She saw us Googling dishes and jumped in to explain everything, even bringing us extra garlic stems with a spicy kick—so good. Even though we were stuffed, we were still curious about the menu. Again, she came to the rescue, asking if we liked spicy food and recommending the jaeyuk bokkum. Seriously, it was even better than the samgyeopsal!
I’d seen some reviews complaining about slow service, but we didn’t have that experience at all. The place is definitely cozy, but the service more than makes up for it. We made sure to tip generously—our server really took care of us. I'm already planning my next visit!

Best Hidden Gem of a restaurant! The service is wonderful, setting is so cozy and sweet and the food is amazing! I got the kimchi stew and omg I could have cried from how delish it was! I took some kimbap to go and also not disappointed but so happy everything I got was great! My sister ordered Mandu and a rice stir fry and I got to taste them too and was slightly jealous because my stomach was too small to fit anymore good food!
