While this is a chain and the menu is same throughout, I give 5 stars to the service here. Very kind and patient.

A lot of options...just not executed well.

I would give a negative rating if I could. They told me they were closed. I checked the hours online and it said they close at 9. I entered at 8:40 pm to order a drink. I would understand if I entered at 8:55 pm, but I didn’t. The door was open and there were people inside. It was a very rude experience. I would suggest updating your close hour to 8:30 pm since it appears they close at that time.

Waited like 30 mins total to order and get my drink. The indian girl working was extremely slow at taking orders and making the drinks. She could of taken my order first before explaining to other kids already there about their drinks they wanted to order which took like 15 minutes as I waited for my order to be taken. Never had this problem before with the other employees, whom are all pretty fast at doing their job. When it gets super crowded, you need to be telling others to step aside as they look at the menu, so others that are ready to order can order. Please stop hiring incompetent people.

This used to be my favorite boba shop in Newark because of the variety of drink options. I don't tolerate caffeine very well, and KFT has several caffeine-free options. My favorite is the Winter Melon tea, and up until recently I never had any issues.

I don't know if there have been staff/management changes but for the past few months, whenever I try to order the Winter Melon tea, they almost always make the drink wrong. There seems to be confusion about the difference between Winter Melon tea and Winter Melon Green tea. I clarify when ordering that I would like the Winter Melon tea, NOT the one with Green tea. I'll watch the barista enter in the correct order on the kiosk, and then they'll proceed to make it with Green tea anyway. The most recent time that this happened to me (this past Sunday), I kindly asked the employee to remake it without Green tea as I'm sensitive to caffeine. I don't think I have ever asked any food or drink service worker to remake something that I ordered because I would hate to make anyone's shift more difficult, but this has happened so many times that I felt frustrated. She remade the drink which I was appreciative of, but it was still not right and tasted pretty bad. I asked for a refund at that point because I felt guilty for inconveniencing the staff – but these drinks are expensive (ie. the hot Winter Melon Tea is $7 if you tip 20%, which I always do). The staff member who refunded me seemed pretty frustrated at my request, but I'm sorry, I'm not going to repeatedly settle for a drink that I did not order.

I empathize with the workers who are making these drinks – KFT is pretty popular and they seem to be understaffed. There are a lot of drinks on the menu to keep track of too, so I can see how there would be some confusion from time to time. But the drinks are not worth the money if they are continuously incorrect. I'm not one to take time to write reviews very often, but I wanted to provide this feedback in the hope that there will be improvements soon!

It's a small boba place, with a great variety of teas. Boba tea, coffees, slushies, etc. Everyone can find something they like.

It's this location that I've had consistently bad experiences with. The employees are nice, but it is always understaffed when I come here. As someone who works in food service I feel terrible for these kids and couldn't bother asking them to remake my drink during a rush.
I've ordered their tea based drinks and I've felt nauseous after, and my friends included too. Something tastes off everytime
They recently came out with their strawberry shortcake collection, and i had the strawberry fields matcha cream top from another location and it was delicious! I ordered the same drink from here the same way and and I was charged for the matcha top even tho it comes with it. And the worst part was that it tasted horrible! like battery acid flavored milk!

Best-tasting bubble tea! So many options to chose from and great flavors! Tried the matcha bubble tea and it tasted delicious.

Kung Fu Tea is my favorite place for bubble tea. The only thing is I'm not sure why the Thai milk tea at this location is never quite right right. It doesn't have the strong tea flavor I get at other locations and is never as orange as it's supposed to be. Definitely something missing.

Love the boba here. However, they do run out of bubbles in the evening. This happens a lot so call ahead to check.

Not quite sure about the food here but the tea is unique and there's literally hundreds of flavors so if this is up your alley this would be a wonderland for you.

It seems like this place is always out of something. I always get the coffee milk tea and it’s great but every time i’ve gone recently they’re out of the coffee. So many times i’ve had to walk right out after walking in because they’re out of it. I came in at 11AM, you just opened how are you out of stuff already???

Every time order is messed up one way or another. KF Oolong Tea does not come with milk, yet 99% of times there is MILK in it. I am just going to avoid place from now on.
