Little goat is my favorite coffee shop! We basically exclusively drink coffee from here. Their coffee is delicious black and they also make wonderful lattes and fun drinks. It's a great place to come study- you can drink as much black coffee as you want while sitting in the shop. I also like sitting outside when the weather is nice. The employees here are extremely friendly and make great drinks!

Among one of my favorites next to Bings Bakery and Brewery.

If you've ever had a cup of coffee at Peach Blossom on Main Street, you know Little Goat Coffee is amazing. So flavorful and fresh. Swear it's one of the best coffees I've ever had! Imagine my delight to learn the coffee brewer is around the corner on a nearby side street! When I walked in, took a look around and discovered they roast the beans right here! A gentleman was working on a vat, stirring them up. So I asked him if he knew what blend was the standers cup of coffee at Peach Blossom, and he directed me to the Espresso blend which is actually a medium bold. Got myself a large bag of beans and went to pay. Not only did they ground them up, but even asked what type of coffee brewer did I use so they could ground the beans appropriately. The smell of the ground beans is so delicious I can't wait to get home and brew a cup! I drink a lot of coffee and have tried all all kinds of chains and independent coffee houses. I have to say...Little Goat is near the top of my list.

Just went for coffee but was real good coffee, not this BS chemical-filled DD or SBucks $10 coffee. Nice staff and good atmosphere.

One of my favorite haunts in town. Cozy, friendly, great music, wonderful baristas, and amazing coffee. It always smells good here, especially when the beans are roasting!! You can't go wrong with the regular drip coffee, or the espresso-based drinks. Prices are great, and the staff always makes an effort to give you a good experience. It's clear everyone enjoys working there. If you're socially anxious or struggle with making in-person orders, they're always very helpful and understanding, and will sometimes give you suggestions about their favorite way to enjoy a drink. All of the non-dairy milks are currently of no extra charge, which I am sooo thankful for as a lactose-intolerant person. If you're a Starbucks regular, come give Little Goat's brews a try. You won't regret it (and you might save a bit too). Also, if they have a specialty drink on the board for the day (and you're an adventurous type), it's always worth to try, no matter how crazy it sounds. They really do a great job balancing flavors to make some memorable stuff. (Root beer latte I miss you...)My current faves are the Peru drip, and the Matcha latte with some Vanilla flavoring. The Winter Warmer is delicious as well, though it'll be gone soon with the turn of the season!Vegetarian options: Non-dairy options are available for all drinks at no extra cost (as of the start of 2024).Pastries are made fresh at Peach Blossom (same owners), and are all clearly labeled with what ingredients they contain. There are some vegitarian and vegan options avaliable each day.Baristas are happy to talk about the origin of the coffee beans, and the shop puts an emphasis on buying organic.Dietary restrictions: They offer a few types of regular milk, as well as a few dairy free options. These are all no extra cost as of the beginning of 2024.If you arrive when they have the pastries in (they usually run out by lunch!), each are clearly labeled to if they are Gluten Free, contain nuts, are vegan or not, etc.Kid-friendliness: I have no kids, but the baristas are always very kind to kids that come in, and are happy to make a hot chocolate for the little guys.Wheelchair accessibility: I do not use a wheelchair or walking aids, disclaimer. It is a bit of a squeeze through the door if it's crowded, due to the building being older, but there is a full ramp around the back of the shop if you can't take the stairs, and the staff is always happy to assist if you have any mobility needs.

The coffee here is great. They clearly work hard to roast and brew good quality cups of coffee. A coffee connoisseur would be happy here. I just ordered a medium coffee which came with 2 options, Ethiopian or Papua New Guinea. If you are staying in house there, you get a mug and a refill. The coffee flavor was pure, subtle, but distinct notes of sweetness. And 2 dollars for a cup of coffee is extremely cheap in our day & age.As for the atmosphere. It is a super small space. For working indoors or talking with somebody, it was not conductive for that kind of thing. It was busy and loud. They have an outdoor deck but it wasn't open because of the winter months. Mostly college students came to hang out here.

Really enjoyed finding this cozy coffee shop where the decor just invites you to slow down and visit for a bit. The service was exceptional and the coffee was great but the star for me was the hot chai served in a mug. Just perfect!

Little Goat is the GOAT best coffee shop in Newark. Come in for the coffee and stay for the vibes. Wednesdays thru the weekend they have the most amazing pastries by Peaches Eatery. We get our whole beans from this local roaster too.Shop local, stay golden.Dietary restrictions: Never once ‘dairy dosed’ me.As a fellow lactose intolerant, you too may have experienced the cold, hard fear after a sip of coffee, trying to determine whether or not they actually used oat milk, or is this ‘whole’ milk… Little Goat baristas take care to make your drink right and add a little dash of love in each latte.

Best coffee in the area. Their pastries are great as well. People are awesome that work there and the space is nice and living room like. Even better when you can hang out on the deck.

Great place to grab a latte. They had house made syrups and seasonal lattes. Great to grab a drink with a friend.

Kind staff, really quick service, and good coffee. Gets crowded at times, but that's what comes when you have a great business. All in all pretty nice. Has a cool atmosphere and an outside area to hang out and meet a friend. When I'm in the mood for coffee, this is where I'll be.

Best coffee shop you'll find for 60 miles around and my go to spot all throughout college. The beans are the freshest possible (Roasting happens nearly daily!) and no one can hold a candle to the espresso shots the baristas pull. The staff is always warm and welcoming and the atmosphere of the cafe is perfect.Their whole milk cappuccino is great (the quality espresso makes it something special) and if it's hot out, an iced latte or their special little coco loco hits the spot. There's lots to love for non coffee drinkers as well with hot tea, chai lattes, matcha, and sometimes cold fizzy things available as well. Plus, the baristas are often happy to attempt something that isn't on the menu if they have the ingredients for it. Hands down the best!

Drive 30mins down every 2 weeks for a freshly roasted bag of whole bean coffee. Sad to see my favorite roast "Hippie crack" to be discontinued.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp accessed from the back.
