The food was really good. There was no wait to be seated. The service was a little slow but not too bad. The staff was very friendly.

Being a native of the sub-continent, I am always in search of Indian food. My usual go-to is Little Spice. But their dosha sides are kind of dull for my tastebuds so I did a quick search and found this place. Ordered masala dosha, tomato soup, mango lassi, and masala tea.Dosha was incredible and I can say that I will come again for this.Tomato soup was average. I would stick to my homemade tomato soup.Mango lassi felt like actual mango in it rather than mango ice-cream flavor I tasted in other places. Little too sweet for me but it was good. The masala tea was horrible. From the color to the taste. I drink tea a lot but it felt like raw masala tea with just a sip of milk in it. The 3- star rating comes from the horrible tea I had after such good food.

This was my first time to this establishment. I brought my daughter (10) and son (8) with me to experience Indian cuisine. The dishes were absolutely delicious. The servers were very welcoming and friendly. My son said if he could give it 10 stars, he would. We will absolutely be back.

Good tasting food! Service is subpar. Prices went up significantly. Expect longer than usual wait even after orders are placed on some days.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant OF ALL TIME! (and I grew up just outside Little India of Edison, NJ!) The flavors are incredible and everyone is so friendly and eager to please. The atmosphere is that of a "hole in the wall" so if you are looking for fine dining, this might not be for you, but that has never stopped us from celebrating so many of our birthdays, anniversaries, etc. over the last 10+ years here because of the food and owners who treat us like family. This is a family-owned restaurant serving INCREDIBLE food with hearts of gold. Some of our favorite dishes:-anything saag (they specially make corn saag for us! YUMMM)-chicken zafrani-veg jalfrezi or sabzi kolhapuri-masala dosaYou can't go wrong with anything on the menu!!!

Out of all the Indian restaurants I have eaten Murahaji food is the best in flavor and quantity. The owners are so wonderful. They aim to make sure you are taken care of. The atmosphere is of family. Love this place and highly recommend.Vegetarian options: I was able to request a special vegetable dish to be made and was very pleased that they were able to make it for me with no problem. I really recommend.

BE READY TO PAY THE TIP AND TAX IN ADVANCE !!! (DELAWARE DOES NOT TAX) They give handwritten receipts that are basically scribbles. No printouts of an actual transaction as any place should do. Our food was only about $20-$30 but we were charged $56 because they took a 18% gratuity tip. Service is HORRIBLE. No music, it’s literally dead and outdated. The owner herself said she only writes her receipts and takes out the tip in advance. Very rude, not welcoming. Me and my family got a weird vibe when we walked in. Food is literally 1/10. As an Indian for non-Indians, I do not recommend. They are just looting you so their place can stay running. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Please, there’s better Indian food and places that give way better service that deserve gratitude.

The food was good and the portion were decent sized. They no longer have buffet, even though it is is still on their menu and on the website, etc.The atmosphere is very run down. They should take a long weekend or maybe close for a week and remodel. "Calling Gordon Ramsey, calling Gordon Ramsey... where are you?"Service is a little slow. Make sure you budget extra time.

First time here. Food was very good. The spice level (medium for me) was just enough to make nose run and sweat a bit. Very flavorful lamb dish. The downside is place is very dated and a little shabby.

I visited this place with my family and one friend. We ordered dhosa with tea, tandoori chicken and goat curry. Ths order took 45 minutes to be served. Chicken was uncooked and even the onions had the taste od vinegar. Goat Curry was so so. I did not touch the meat dishes and went with dhosa and masala tea. I started to have stomach pain as soon as I was finishing the food. I threw up 5 times after coming home. I would not recommend anyone to visit the restaurant anymore.

The host remained on her speaker phone to her very loud relative in India, from the time we arrived, ordered until the time we hurriedly departed. We were treated to very loud haucking and hacking sounds so that we thought someone was spitting on us when we made our order. The food tasted good but the dark atmosphere and disgusting manners of the host wrecked the entire experience

Cheffing with Grace

Yacking and Hacking: The excellent food was eclipsed by appalling uncouth service and dingy ambience. There is a sound reason that virtually no one dines in house. Our host remained on the phone to India, from our arrival, during our order until we hastened our departure. The max blaster volume conversation including several renditions of hacking up goobers, background sound effects worthy of the Calcutta slums, which you could almost smell and would make anyone’s stomach churn.
