It is with sad heart I report Michael's has closed down. I have been a customer for about 12 years. It was a great place to eat breakfast or dinner.

In light of the virus going around and places being shut down our experience here wasnt too bad. The salad bar there is amazing! The food on the salad bar was pretty fresh. I'd rather not comment on the other food at the bar considering what's going on right now. Our server was very sweet and the bartender made us a drink that wasnt on the menu which is greatly appreciated. I'd suggest coming here after this mess with the virus.

So I travel quite frequently for work, I'm a huge fan of trying local hot spots especially pizza places. I stayed near this restaurants I'd to them claiming to have "Brick Oven" pizza and wings! Anything brick, wood or coal is typically much better than the traditional style. I got my food to go, after handing the bartender my card I had to hunt him down as he forgot to give me it back after 20 minutes and only 1 other person at the bar. I get back to the hotel and the pizza was awful! For a brick oven it wasn't crunchy at all and very doughy. As you can see from the picture the wings were horrible!! Cold in the center and very slimy, I took one bite and threw the rest away. I gave it 2 stars because the atmosphere is very nice!

I was in the area with my mom looking at apartments. We wanted to go to Applebee's but they had no room at the bar so we settled on Michael's. After a cold welcome, we sat down at the bar and the bartender wasn't enthusiastic about having to serve us. The food was good, (we ordered a pizza and wings- the pizza was luke warm) but the bartender seemed very judgmental. Every time we ordered a beer, he gave us a dirty look. He also had a horrible attitude towards his employees. Overall, it was a sad experience.

Our seniors group meets here frequently. Wide variety of items on the salad and buffet bar. Every one seems to get more than their share of great food. We have never had a bad meal here and quite reasonable prices for all our budgets.

First time there. Decided with the buffet. Reasonable price. The seafood cakes were full of filler and no flavor. Beef ribs were ok but they didn't remove the silver skin so hard to eat. Low main no flavor. Mac n cheese ok but needed salt. Fried cod rubbery. Nachos chips were stale. Only thing we enjoyed was the salad bar and ice cream. We were done our plates before beer came to our table. Yes we are a bit of food snobs but we both paid the price later that day. We won't be back.

Small selection, but what was served was delicious. I rather have a good selection of GREAT food then a huge selection of mediocre food. 10 out of 10 WILL be going back.???

I have been going to this restaurant for years. I generally go for the buffet. They have daily changes to the hot bar. Great salad selection, something for everyone. Good sections for desserts, I usually have the soft serve.

My daughter chose Michaels for her friends birthday meal . For teenagers $18.99 a piece is a lot of money . The only thing they liked was the ice cream . The lobster bisque tasted like it was from a can . No one enjoyed their meal and it was a party of 7! I would have spoken up but wanted her to experience a nice dinner on her own . Her entire party should have been offered a comp meal ! We will not return
They have a great happy. Large menu, good food and great salad bar. They also offer a buffet. Staff is always friendly. Stephanie at the bar is fantastic!!

I used to like it more because Diana the bartender was the best and the food was great, especially happy hour food specials. Diana isn't there anymore and the bar service and some of the appetizer food has suffered a bit, but it's still a good place to go and good value. I've never tried the buffet, but it looks good and is popular.

Can't beat the salad bar, or the pricing! We love coming here, and try to eat here every time we're in the area. Sometimes we even make a special trip (we live 45 minutes away, one way). If we lived closer, we would go more often. The place is cozy and comfortable, and always has been clean, including the restrooms. The servers have all been wonderful. Once, we took a pizza to-go, and it was good. I hope to get there for the Sunday brunch buffet soon. Give this place a try.
