Hey y"all! I would recommend this place to anyone and I have done so. I've gotten to know the owner "Ann", Always with a smile! I have been going to Ming Garden in Newark De for over 20 years. Also for you leftover eaters, let me say, this is only chinese food that tastes fresh if not better the next day! (Warmed of course.) Every bite is delicious, although better with chopsticks!
I really REALLY wanted crab Rangoon. The website let me order it, but when I showed up to pick it up, the nice lady said they were all out and offered to cancel it or get egg rolls instead. Waited another 15 minutes or so for egg rolls, which were okay, but not what I wanted. Please don't let us order stuff if you don't have it.
Ordered take out today. Very pleased - I considered it authentic Chinese food. Having lived in Taiwan for many years, I can tell you this is the real deal. When you go there, tell them you want the real Chinese food vs American Chinese food. Or if you can read Chinese, order from the Chinese menu. These are new owners and eager to please.
