Grabbed a few items on a Friday (borek, poğaça, and some pastries). Took about 30 mins to get home and realized they forgot to put the pastries in the bag. I called to confirm they were paid for and I’d be there Monday to pick up what was forgotten because I don’t live close.
Showed up Monday. While the guy (Deniz) apologized, they gave me the exact pastries that were forgotten Friday. I suspected this and asked “those aren’t the old ones from Friday are they? These are fresh?” The woman (Hindi) assured me they were fresh and put aside for me that morning.
Pure lie. They were the old ones and they sat on a shelf over the weekend. Rock solid. Stale. I’m actually shocked they let me leave with them and lied to my face. Obviously, I’ll never go back. Any business owner with basic awareness would make sure to give me fresh items when I came back. They might even throw a couple things in the bag as a sorry for the inconvenience. Don’t go here.

We went for breakfast. My friend got Kuvurma; I got Menemen. Both came with great bread. We also both got Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious. Before we left, we stocked up on cookies, a couple of pastries, and Turkish delight. We live about an hour away and only ended up there because of where we were staying, and now we are making plans to try to get back before Christmas to get more cookies and try their lunch. It was truly delicious.

This is a true hidden diamond. The deserts are amazing and the associates there are beyond kind and friendly. They have assortment of food as well. You are welcome to sit down and enjoy your food as well. I had no problem spending more than what I intended to her based on the welcome I received. I would highly recommend this place
