We could tell our server was newer, but she was great. The food.. not so much. We paid $59 for the meat (chicken, steak, chorizo) and potatoes plate. A little pricey when the food comes out completely cold and barely seasoned, and it was not busy at all so it didn't make much sense. We also got the salmon/white beans plate. The beans were great, but the salmon tasted like absolutely nothing, dry, and cold. We left paying $151 (not including tip) and felt like dinner at applebees would have been a better choice. It was our first time there and it was extremely disappointed

we went here for our (day after) valentines date and the whole experience was amazing. scott took care of us from top to bottom, making both food and drink recommendations, and making sure we had the best experience possible. we had several tapas for our meal, and all of amazing. some of the options seem simple in theory, but ole tapas sources high quality ingredients and you can truly taste the difference. my favorite were the lamb skewers, and the tres leches cake was absolutely to die for. highly recommend!

Made a reservation at 6:30PM for Valentines Day. We were seated about 10 minutes after we got there. Drinks came out about 1/2 hour later. 1st course came out at 8:06 then at 9 we complained. They canceled out our dinner and handed our check for the drinks. Ended up at Popeyes on the way home. Not a great experience. Not sure if it was too much for them to handle on a holiday or our waitress. Other people with later reservations were getting their food. I have to say the decorations and what they tried to create for the holiday was great. Just didn't work out for us

First time dining here. The atmosphere and aesthetic were very pleasing. We had a very nice/attentive host and waiter. We ordered a few tapas and paella. Was excited for the paella but was disappointed with its flavor. Way too salty and the color was off. From having authentic paella in Spain and elsewhere, and cooking it myself, I could tell this wasn’t not it. While decent, it missed the mark for what it should have been. May return but wouldn’t spend that amount for the paella again.

What a gem Ole Tapas is! We really enjoyed the hospitality of Anna. The food is top notch and delicious. The Gazpacho is a smooth velvety delightfully tasty version. That has a drizzle of some tasty oil and some perfectly crunchy croutons. The Queso was so good and the Special Steak Chimichurri was amazing. The Tres Leches is unparalleled and the churros were good.Kid-friendliness: There was a really well behaved family of young children when we were there.

I have been a regular here for years but will not be coming back because of how incredibly rude their people were. They were closed for some special event on January 6th so we decided to try the place next door. However, the DJ that Ole Tapas hired ruined the dining experience next door. The walls were shaking and my ears were aching the music was SO loud. The place next door lost business because of the horrible atmosphere Ole Tapas was creating on the other side of their wall. Numerous people came in and left because they didn't want to deal with the noise.I went next door to ask them to turn it down and was basically told to F off. The owners of the restaurant we were in told me they had also asked them to turn it down, but the Ole Tapas people refused.I'd be shocked if the waiters don't have ear damage from having to work in that environment.What truly horrible neighbors. They don't deserve anyone's business. They should pay for all the business they made their neighbors lose.

Ole Tapas is still amazing. One of our favorite Delaware locations!Ole Tapas is probably our favorite place to go in Newark. The tapas are diverse and plentiful. The wine list is excellent and they offer a variety of cocktails as well. There is live entertainment on occasion as well.

We happened upon this restaurant during one of the live musicians which made the night lovely. The food was good but not great, which for the price was a bit disappointing. Not likely to return but that’s mainly because it’s out of the way. The ham and cheese based tapas was very good.Kid-friendliness: Does not provide high chairs/boosters. Kids were welcome but you need to think about seating and may need to provide their own food depending on their palate.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat restaurant with space so wheelchair accessible. Bathroom should fit wheelchair too.
