OVERBAKED Bakery Cafe

Rude, Racist, Rinse, Repeat. While looking for the Turkish bakery, I accidentally found this joint. It seemed ok, and I went there January 29, 2026. I walked into an empty shop, save for two guests on a date, and began to order. I chose the strawberry cream latte and three desserts. When the drink came, it was iced. The temperature outside was about 15 degrees F. Did the person at the register mention this to me beforehand? No. Did the menu indicate a difference between iced and hot drinks? Again, no! When I ordered a second drink—a hot coconut latte—it arrived WITHOUT any sweetener! Again, did the barista mention this to me or suggest anything else? Of course NOT! The system asked me to tip her, too, which I declined to do, and rightfully so. If her employer will not compensate her adequately, why am I even asked to pay for her to serve me an iced beverage on one of the coldest days in recent years, or to make me a bland, flavorless drink without any customer service? The best part—as I was stirring the iced drink in its container, it BURSTED all over me, the table, the floor. What did the barista and Manager do to help me? They gave me back my money for the iced drink. Did they offer me a towel? No. Did they make me beg for the TWO tiny napkins they provided? Yes! Is this because I’m Black? Probably, but I will not be spending my Black dollars there again.

Stumbled across this place on google and it did not disappoint. Went and got three desserts and all of them were as good as they looked. I deff recommend the pistachio crepe cake. 😋

The dining space is so cute and inviting, I wish I took a picture. We got the salted caramel coffee cake and it was divine! Perfect balance of salt and sweet and the cake was moist and spongy. Will definitely be coming back for hubby's birthday cake.
I got the Nutella Mocha Latte and it was the perfect balance. The milk was not over steamed. Hub got the Coconut Latte and this will be an addition for our day date list.

Walk through their bright and inviting decor toward the display case that is full of exquisite, creatively detailed treats. I recommend the tiramisu crepe cake.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I pre-ordered and PAID in full for a cake for my kid‘s birthday. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told the cake had not been made.

First off the place has a great look .. the only complaint i have the place doesn't smell like anything bakes here in the dinning area. Its overwhelmed with the smell of furniture glue and vinyl.. But I ordered a few things anyway, the strawberry box was mediocre but i will say the little animal mousse cake they have are pretty great and that was what I originally came for . Id like to try a few other things ..
