This restaurant is hit or miss due to lack of proper management and inconsistent quality control. I would say 3 out of 5 times I get absolutely delicious and authentic Nigerian style foods. Then the other 2 out of 5 times you either receive undercooked food, missing items, sloppily prepared food, bland food or any combination of the two. This particular night the plantain and jollof rice was delicious but the fried turkey tasted rushed and not as flavorful.
If I could give this place more stars, I would. Here’s why:
The outside is beautiful, and even more welcoming inside.
What’s more welcoming is the staff. Joy is just how her name is - a joy! She was very kind and helped me decide what to get as I have never tried Fufu dishes before. Ayo was a sweetheart. Lydia and their other cook make amazing food, and you guessed it: so kind!
