From the friendly faces at the door to our knowledgeable waiter this place exceeded our expectations. The perfectly toasted breads..the whipped ricotta (OMG). Hubby had pizza & I had free range chicken and our belly’s were happy and full.

Really loved the atmosphere of this place! The food I was served was piping hot, which was perfect! The appetizer I got was the arincini with the spicy ketchup and I loved it!! As someone who can’t tolerate in too much heat it was wonderful. My main course was the Calamarta and that filled me up! I intended to stay for dessert but had no more room. I’ll just have to come back for that later

Consistently good. Super fast last night which suited our plans. But we didn't feel rushed

Food was good and service started off fine. However once the place got busy things fell apart. The service was slow and disinterested. Wait times for dessert and bill was close to 30 minutes. Probably would not return.

Food was just "ok." Two of the dishes came out cold but no one checked on us until 10 minutes into the meal when it was almost too late too reheat it so only one person opted for that. Drinks and Grilled artichoke appetizer was good.

I'd like to report on my experience but do not want my name on it—even tho it was positive.

Had a really nice visit here on Sunday. We had a mix of brunch and lunch food and everything was delicious. My mushroom pizza was so good! We sat outside which was really nice. Service was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit when we next come visit our UD student!

Went here based on recommendation of friends. The chicken parm was good however the chicken cacciatore was dry & the orzo & the risotto were watery & had no flavor. The staff however was very attentive & friendly.

Solid good restaurant that is delightful in every way. One of our favorites in the local Newark Delaware area. Resevations recommended as it is a college town that gets busy especially when parents are visiting; it appears to be a favorite place for parents to dine when visiting their kids. And a favorite for a reason. It's good.

Good spot for rustic Italian. Would have said something about the ice-cold coffee that was served but was running late for an engagement.

A all around wonderful restaurant in Newark Delaware. Good food and service in a nice/casual atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. Can get busy and a bit loud when large groups are there at the same time. Being in a college town, that can happen when parents come in to visit their children and take them and their friends to this wonderful restaurant. Being a busy town, parking can be a bit challenging - either paid street parking or paid parking lots. BUT, eventually parking is found, but be prepared to walk a short distance and give yourself time to find a spot before your dinner reservation.

Great Italian food off of I-95 near UD campus. Worth a slight detour from the highway or Christiana Mall for truly authentic Italian food. If they are serving the artichokes and broccoli rabe make sure to order them. Their pastas were great and sauces delicious!
