I feelings are mixed on this, Drinks were weak, Food good, service was only so-so. We still tipped 20% but mainly because most help is working hard because of Covid. But I did have a few request I felt were not taken care of they the way they should of been.

When I saw positive reviews of this restaurant I was expecting it to be a good restaurant with a good service and good food

Absolutely amazing food experience. It's my go-to place to spend my winnings from the Delaware Casino. Try Burros it's a gift from heaven. The salsa, ranch etc. is fresh and the waiters are amazing. The entire ambiance of the place makes you feel like you're in a western movie saloon scene. I recommend to literally anyone and everyone.

Fajitas without onions or peppers. Beef tasted funny. Shrimp Fajita had no onions of pepper. Food properly prepared

This place is excellent!!! I went there for the first time last night with a friend. Ordered the steak & chicken fajitas with the blackened chicken. Everything had great flavor, nothing was salty. The service was awesome, I truly enjoyed this place. & best of all...it isn’t expensive! I definitely will be returning in the future.

Run for the Border! The blackened chicken fajitas are nicely seasoned and delicious. I started with the house salad which is a good size. You never have to worry about being thirsty here. The waitstaff is exceptional at refilling your drink without you ever having to ask. My only wish is that they would serve some “American” beers such as Coors Light or Michelin Ultra. Only Mexican beers are served here. Gringos like beer too! Now that the tables are spaced out, you can actually hear your conversations. Before it was so crowded and the tables were so close you could barely hear yourself think. They are currently not accepting cash, so bring a card. An excellent choice for Tex-mex, large, tasty entrees, accompanied by an attentive waitstaff make a very pleasant dining experience. Enjoy!!

Limited seating and limited menu, but the food is still outstanding... We both had the Corn and Black Bean Empanadas.. 4 flaky homemade pastries stuffed with seasoned corn, black beans, peppers, fresh cilantro and Monterey Jack Cheese. Served with a roasted red pepper sauce.. Excellent.. Ask for Joe. His service was great..

I love the food there, I'm not too crazy how they make thier margaritas, they use some kind of soda and it don't taste right but I'm getting used to them, but the food is great

Fajitas without green peppers or onions is just fried steak. Terrible and not authentic. Left immediately.

When ever we want a quick cheap meal we go to Borders Cafe. We enjoy the chips and salsa when waiting for meal. Burrito or taco salad are always a good choice.

Borders is a great place to go with friends or family! The food is tasty and inexpensive. Their frozen mango ? margaritas are so delicious! I did not give them more stars because of their takeout policy. If you even mention that you would like to order something to go in addition to the food you will be eating at the table, they will completely stop taking orders from anyone at the table. It’s RIDICULOUS!!! They will not make any modifications to the menu items either so how it reads on the menu is how you will have to order it. Lastly the food is extremely salty so make sure to drink a lot of water!

Been dining here for years and I have to say Borders is slipping . Aside from our favorite long term server Mark no longer working there was a big disappointment. The quality and portion sizes have also changed a bit . It is our families very favorite spot the menu is great there is something for everyone on it . No tap beer is a downer , but I think the food is good enough to overcome that ! I have had a million meals here and only one was lousy, and it was at closing so easily forgiven .

I have gone to this restaurant for years but I cannot in all honesty stand by and not say anything any longer about the way I have been treated at this place and the policies they have in place that are so anti-customer. People considering going here should know. Inconvenient to guests who want to drop guests off while parking as they won’t seat anyone until they physically and literally “see” the entire party in the building. And if you want to meet friends there, forget it. It is such a hassle it’s no fun to meet friends there. The manager boasted to me about this policy. You can’t get take out. They literally won’t let you. If you want to take a meal home to someone or take uneaten part of your meal home, they literally won’t give you a take out box. Hostesses were not friendly. No smile, barely an acknowledgement. When we went in it’s like they behaved like they were doing us a favor by seating us and they don’t get the concept that it is the other way around that they have a job because of customers. I understand restaurants get busy, but I’ve been in a lot of busy restaurants and still was greeted in a friendly manner by the hostess, so there’s no excuse. Rushed service because the concept they seem to operate under is to get as many customers in and out as fast as possible. So the servers on more than one occasion have become rude 1. When we order cheap meals and 2. When we don’t order alcoholic drinks. Not an ideal place if you want to hang out and leasurely enjoy the company of friends and family. I thought the first time this happened I was imagining it, but after repeated times of being rudely rushed out, it does not seem to be coincidental. Food was fast food quality. Over seasoned, salty and soggy. I got the soft tacos and cheese enchiladas. Menu hasn’t changed in years and is very limited. No deserts on the menu are another reason i believe they really want you out fast. I won’t go here anymore because as a customer I just did not feel appreciated nor welcomed because of all these non-customer friendly policies and way of treating us they now have, and the food isn’t good enough to come back for.

My husband and I come into Philadelphia area to go to hte Celtic Festival in Bethlehem. We add a few days on and one of the things we have to do go to the Border Cafe. I ordered soft chicken tacos with jambalaya and my husband ordered eggplant royal with jambalaya. We split an appetizer of pastelitos with cilantro pesto. I didn't care for the pesto, but my husband really like it. The pastelitos were on the salty side for me. The chicken was tender and juicy. I loved the jambalaya! This place is noisy, so if you have hearing problems, which my husband has, you may have difficulty conversing at the table.

They refused to let us order an additional meal to take home for my sick father. Morally inhuman people
