I love bagels. I grew up in the Philadelphia area. These are fantastic. I often get the Marco Polo Bagels and Lox. Lox, cream cheese, capers, tomato, toasted. Great service

All the variety of bagels are good.

Best bagel in Bear/Newark area.

Let me start by saying the bagels sandwhiches are 5 star. However, I can't the service when I give ratings. Its important. These employees worry more that you dont have the right identifying number for your food, than they do about saying THANK YOU. As a regular, on the rare two occasions that I've forgotten my number, there is mild frustration shown. But the 10s of time I know my number, I am never thanked for my business. Be better.

I have been a customer of Original Hot Bagels for so many years. Their bagels are amazing. I treat myself every couple of weeks, on a Sunday, when they are SLAMMED with other customers who enjoy their bagels just as much as I do. Samatha is always so pleasant regardless of how busy they may be.
I decided to treat myself to a bagel today and when I realized they closed at 3:00 pm and I had to rush to make it there. They were in the middle of their closing… cleaning, etc. I felt so bad walking in and disrupting their flow. I work in the service industry and know how frustrating it can be to have a customer walk in at close. Like clockwork, Samantha greeted me with kindness and a smile. She gave me the same service she delivers at 2:45 pm that she would have at 10:00 am.
That is how you treat and keep loyal customers all the years.
Kudos to Samantha and Original Hot Bagels.

I have been ordering here for years, but never had an issue until today. See, their Menu on this Google Maps platform advertises a lower price than they actually charge. Today, I tried to order the Marco Polo w/o cream cheese and it came to $12.85, but is still advertised as $10 (see photo). For a multi-area franchise, this oversight is lawsuit-worthy, as they know better than to increase prices without the proper advertising. Instead of suing them for consumer fraud and deceptive practices, I am going to the grocery store and making my own breakfast, which is what I should always do, but…

Great local bagel place. Great customer service from all, especially Josh who is always a friendly face to see. He shows interest in the local community by learning sign language since it’s across the street from the school for the deaf. He makes it an easy experience for deaf people to come in and order.
