Tio Taco + Tequila

I recently visited Tio Taco + Tequila right outside the mall, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was great, lively and welcoming and the employees were wonderful, making the visit feel comfortable and enjoyable.

As for the food, it was okay. If you’re looking for something different from typical mall food, it’s a decent option. However, I felt it was missing the bold flavors I usually expect from Mexican cuisine. Another small letdown was that they didn’t serve chips and salsa, which is something most Mexican restaurants offer as a standard.

I also thought the fajitas came with fresh corn tortillas, but either they didn’t or I may have misread the menu.

That said, the location is very convenient, especially if you’re already shopping nearby. Tio Taco + Tequila is worth a try for the great service and atmosphere even if the food doesn’t completely steal the show.

I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was not crowded but it was a Friday afternoon. I sat at the bar n person next to me was very friendly n the bartender was also very friendly. I asked for recommendations n ordered one of their salads. I ordered the Taqueria salad n it did not disappoint. Wow presentation was beautiful. I was not expecting the flavor to be so amazing. I've never had a salad so good. All the ingredients just went perfectly together corn, beans, ground beef ( most flavorful I've ever tasted) perfectly seasoned shredded cheddar perfectly salad. So many flavors perfectly enchanted each other. Just the right amount of drizzle n dressing
A must try in my opinion. Only downfall is there is not one in my town.

What a great place to eat! The food was amazing!! We got the tacos & they did not disappoint!! The fight of Margaritas was delicious!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Will definitely be back!!!

Food a little too salty but great atmosphere especially for a date night .

This place feels a bit overhyped. The prices are steep for what you get—the quality just doesn’t match. I paid $24 for fajitas and only got enough meat for about two small tacos. The guac was average at best and didn’t taste particularly fresh. Overall, the food was pretty underwhelming, especially considering the high prices.

First time here had Devon as our waiter and we ordered lots of stuff the Birria quesadillas are nasty told my waiter and all he said was sorry about that my friend he didn’t even touch his Ground beef nachos and he said he didn’t like it and was told the same thing sorry about that only 1 person in our party ate their food and took home the rest we gave back full plates of food and nothing was done after saying multiple times we didn’t enjoy our food we did however still pay over a 100.00 tab but definitely do not recommend eating meals here this place is good for the margaritas and maybe a appetizer caution don’t get meals here ! and if you taste your food and don’t like it that’s it no accommodations to be made and don’t expect any justice or real customer service to be done I don’t like giving bad reviews especially because the workers are friendly but just the customer service follow through is completely off and the food isn’t worth it

I went there on 5/6/2025 for the cinco de mayo celebration and they had no happy hour deals or deals for cinco de mayo!! And had the nerve to have a billboard over the kitchen that day they celebrated!! I’m disappointed that they did not have deals for the occasion being it’s a Mexican restaurant! At least a margarita deal would have surficed.

Called this place ahead of time and was told there was no wait. Visited shortly after this phone call and all of a sudden there’s an extended wait time. No communication or anything.

I pay close attention to reviews and to be honest was nervous to eat here because they weren't super great ones. I was pleasantly surprised as was my husband. I had the chicken fajitas which were so good, and the margaritas were really yummy!! Can't remember what my husband ordered but he wasn't disappointed and he is a tough critic. Service was great. We will be back!

This is a great place with an AMAZING staff and delicious food. I have been here three times with my wife, and we have always had a great time while eating a delicious meal. Alyssa is a great manager that ensures incredible customer service. Amelia and Tahleah provide a customer experience second to none. Z is an amazing hostess and will greet you with a smile everytime. We drove 45 minutes to have our anniversary dinner and would do it again! Keep up the phenominal job!

The service was unmatched. My server Aaron was awesome he constantly checked on us made sure our food came out in a timely manner and the manager along with the restaurant ambiance was absolutely 1st class. Make sure you visit them and ask for Aaron.

I love this place actually going tomorrow for lunch it’s a soft atmosphere so anyone complaining about lights could have left. The food is amazing as always. We read comments and we never realize how it can affect a business over something ignorant like beans smh not that serious especially if they try to fix your order and you decline. But besides weird ppl and comment this place is definitely the spot for tacos and a chill night and prices be the bonus 👍
