Tio Taco + Tequila

Me and my Gf went here on our anniversary for the first time and this place did not disappoint the food was relatively cheap for the quantity and it all tasted amazing and fresh. Our serve Amelia was super nice and attentive. I asked if they had Jars of salsa for sale she said no but immediately without asking me brought me 4 take home containers of salsa for free, and the manager did come up to us and talked to us as well. This place is by far a favorite restaurant of mine now.

Add Tio to the list of your fav Mexican spots. Our bartender Sarah is always pleasant, attentive and makes a well crafted drink. Food is always amazing and the general manager was always pleasant and welcoming each time we have visited. My fav dishes are the wings, shrimp tacos, and the birria tacos are to die for!

This was our first visit on a Saturday night, and everything about the experience was amazing but we especially want to highlight how great our server, Aaron, was.

He struck that elusive balance, warm and attentive without ever seeming forced. From the moment we were seated, Aaron made us feel welcome without overdoing it. He was personable, knowledgeable, and kept things moving at the perfect pace.

We were in and out in under an hour, which was exactly what we needed to catch our movie and at no point did it feel rushed or like the quality of service or food was compromised. Quite the opposite. Everything was efficient, seamless, and still felt relaxed.

Aaron really elevated the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for him again.

All the food was very good and hot. The wings were my favorite. Fried good and a little charred on the edges of the skin just like I like it. The chips were good and thin, and love that the salsas are pureed for it. Fried ice cream was AMAZING!! the drinks were very good too! The margarita flight is a must. Friday afternoon and it wasn’t busy and can request to sit anywhere. Manager walked around too and made herself known and very kind, no complaints. Also our waiter was very good and friendly and personable and attentive. Will go back again

This place is nice for a date night dinner or a night out with some friends. I went with a small group and we ordered the wings, corn, and empanadas for appetizers. Our main entrees were shrimp and steak fajitas, and a burrito bowl. My favorite were the wings and beef empanadas. I didn’t like the rice or beans that were served with the fajitas because they lacked flavor. The margarita flight was good-brace yourself for the jalapeño drink.

I recently visited Tio Taco + Tequila right outside the mall, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was great, lively and welcoming and the employees were wonderful, making the visit feel comfortable and enjoyable.

As for the food, it was okay. If you’re looking for something different from typical mall food, it’s a decent option. However, I felt it was missing the bold flavors I usually expect from Mexican cuisine. Another small letdown was that they didn’t serve chips and salsa, which is something most Mexican restaurants offer as a standard.

I also thought the fajitas came with fresh corn tortillas, but either they didn’t or I may have misread the menu.

That said, the location is very convenient, especially if you’re already shopping nearby. Tio Taco + Tequila is worth a try for the great service and atmosphere even if the food doesn’t completely steal the show.

I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was not crowded but it was a Friday afternoon. I sat at the bar n person next to me was very friendly n the bartender was also very friendly. I asked for recommendations n ordered one of their salads. I ordered the Taqueria salad n it did not disappoint. Wow presentation was beautiful. I was not expecting the flavor to be so amazing. I've never had a salad so good. All the ingredients just went perfectly together corn, beans, ground beef ( most flavorful I've ever tasted) perfectly seasoned shredded cheddar perfectly salad. So many flavors perfectly enchanted each other. Just the right amount of drizzle n dressing
A must try in my opinion. Only downfall is there is not one in my town.

What a great place to eat! The food was amazing!! We got the tacos & they did not disappoint!! The fight of Margaritas was delicious!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Will definitely be back!!!
