My boss and I have had this on our weekly rotation of lunch places for a while now and it's always one of the best stops we make! Dhara and her team really value customer service and customer feedback and you can really tell they are passionate about ensuring a high quality experience from start to finish with anyone who they come in contact with. Their meat lovers pizza is hands down one of the best in the area and their garlic knots are second to none!! I absolutely recommend them to anyone I can who loves their pizza in the Newark area. Tony’s cafe is the best! I haven’t had a single thing I didn’t like from there. We often order from Tony’s for office luncheons and it’s always a favorite. The holiday veggie pizza is a favorite, and the gluten free is super yummy! The penne alla vodka pizza or pasta is fabulous. The garlic knots are amazing. Everything is so good! Service is prompt and friendly. You won’t be disappointed with Tony’s!
Super busy. Line out the door. Put order in and was told 15 to 20 minute.. Got my food with 2 minutes to spare.. Worth the wait. Food was great and staff was cheerful but efficient.

We catered over 25 trays of food for a corporate event from appetizers to dessert. Dhara was beyond helpful from start to finish, her attention to detail and kind nature made the stressful process smooth and seamless. Oh my dear, a hidden gem here!! This was the BEST New York Style pizza around. I grew up in Elkton, MD, currently live in Duluth, MN and this is a favorite that I discovered with my family this summer. One son is gluten sensitive and the gluten free pizza was one of best we have found in the USA. 10/10 would recommend! Do not be deterred by the outside appearance, it is clean and very nice inside!

Tony’s cafe is top notch place to get your food!!! If you’re looking for some good Italian food like Penna Ala Vodka, Stuff shells and chicken Marcella Tony’s is the place to be!! From the Owners, waitress and the pizza guys they always treat us like family. My boyfriend and I go at least once a week to see our Tony’s Cafe family!!! Remember the next time you want some good Italian food or just a slice pizza go to Tony’s.

The hoagie I had was terrible. There was more bread than meat, there was absolutely no mayonnaise on it or I should say very little. Nothing like I asked for anyway. This place was supposed to be a popular recommendation by the folks at my job. I was fairly disappointed

Take it from this Jersey Boy when I say Tony’s Cafe has great pizza. Everything there is great. I typically go for lunch and do the lunch special and they have a lot of pizza to choose from and their Stromboli is banging too. Dharra and her staff are friendly and offer great and fast service. I have also placed large orders from there for work events and not only was the food great but everything was ready well ahead of time. Great food with friendly and fast service.

I've been a customer for over 20 years. Tony's must be under new management. The counter woman is rude. I ordered a half and half pizza that turned out to be 2/3 one topping and 1/3 another. Who does that? Friday, I ordered online. When my husband went to pick up the order, they forgot to make the stromboli! He had to wait 20 minutes. Shame on you.
