I was delighted to see so many choices for dairy free options for my daughter. It is challenging to find an ice cream place that offers dairy free choices, so while my kids were growing up, our family of 6 often didn't go to ice cream shops because I wouldn't go somewhere that she couldn't have a treat like her siblings. She really enjoyed the dairy free strawberry ice cream on a sugar cone. I had the peach ice cream, which was good but nothing special. My husband had one scoop of the all nighter on a sugar cone. Their helpings were generous and the staff was friendly despite how crowded it was. There is no indoor seating other than a few stools, and on a high temp day in the summer, it was too hot to sit outside, so we ate in our car.

The ice cream is simply fabulous and I love that the flavors are often representative of local places. There can often be a wait but it's well worth the time spent.

This is a great place for good ice cream! The parking lot is suitable, never had a problem with finding parking. In the dead of summer, this is a great place to go and find a great cone or cup of ice cream a place to sit.
The atmosphere got four out of five stars because sometimes the trash is overflowing to the point that there's trash out all over the floor, and that's gross.
I think there could be more water options inside than the small cups. I was pregnant a time or two that I visited this location and having a larger water cooler with bigger cup options will help everyone stay hydrated.
I'd offer this five stars from his fear if there's more frequent cleaning of the trash, and wiping down the tables, and puddles of dropped ice cream outside.

Very good ice cream and some cheese selection. But, I am biased toward Penn State's Creamery!

I visited the creamery August 16th. The ice cream was good. The server was friendly. The place is welcoming. HOWEVER, there were no less than three flies on the hanging light immediately above the ice cream and not one employee was taking notice of them. When there are multiple flies in a place where food is prepared and consumed you need to immediately cease all operations and deal with the problem. Not ignore it imagining it is normal. It is not. The creamery is not on a farm. There is no excuse for having lots of flies inside the very small building.

The line can sometimes be out the door but it moves fast. Just give your order to the next available scooper and it will all sort out at the register.

Flavors change all the time. You can not be disappointed. Don't forget napkins - the ice cream is not deep frozen, so it will melt fast.

Outdoor seating. No restroom.
