Terrible. Waiting for 10 min to be acknowledged in a empty restaurant, only to be told to wait some more because they are busy setting up for some sort of party. Will not go there again. Don't know what happened, but I wasn't like this a while back. Different management maybe.

The seating area was the only issue. The tables needed whipped off and food crumbs on the seats. We had to sweep the seats off and use a napkin to clean our own table.

The local smoothie place here is hidden in a weird shopping center with more skaters than cars. They don't do much other than smoothie bowls and a few baked goods, but their bowls had quite a bit of variety. I had little trouble deciding on the "first state" bowl. Why nutella-infused acai should be taken as a symbol of the state of Delaware I do not know, but it's tasty stuff, and there was plenty of fresh fruit on top. My understanding was that it is not actually branded Nutella, but instead a house hazelnut spread, which is vegan (unlike Nutella), and they push the vegan angle pretty heavily. The indoor space is small but airy and restrooms were available, which was handy. I took the route through town to avoid one of the (numerous) tolls on 95, and this was a good stop on the road for me.

The service here is historically slow. I have continued to come back as our family likes the bowls. Even with the new ownership we have experienced the same slow service. You need to have more than one person working. Today I tried again only to find you were closed! No signs indicating you were closed unexpectedly. Website says you are open on Sundays. Not sure my patience can continue to withstand the negative experiences with Viva Bowls.
