WOW, this place is GREAT! I would actually plan a trip back to Delaware just to go here for dinner! Great food, very attentive staff. food served in a timely fashion. Really the best.

I really hesitated to write this review. I really don't like giving a bad review. But, four of us went to dinner here a couple weeks ago. The server was excellent. She was very informative discussing the different ways to prepare our steaks (i.e. Chicago style, black & blue, etc..) . All four of us ordered our steaks medium rare and all four steaks were way over cooked. Im not a great cook but I can get grill a medium rare steak almost 100% of the time. This is the second time we were underwhelmed by the preparation of our steak. This place is definitely off our list. Sorry guys, you really have to get the basics right.

We stopped by while vacationing in Ocean City for my fiancé’s birthday. The restaurant was fully booked but they squeezed us in by the piano. Our server was fantastic but the food was even better! We all ordered the 1776 Filet dish with crabmeat. AMAZING! We met the owner and he gave us dessert on the house. We will definitely be back 👍

1776 Steakhouse is an absolute gem! The food was exceptional—perfectly cooked steaks, delicious sides, and a great wine selection. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommend! As well as highly recommend reservations!

Over the past years, we have celebrated our wedding anniversary at 1776 Steakhouse.. Last night was no exception. The owner is “hands on” and tries to interact with most guests. He is exceptional; the food is spectacular. If you are celebrating a special occasion or just want to enjoy a great meal, I would highly recommend the 1776 Steakhouse

Appetizers, Dinner & Dessert were exceptional! Our server Alex was attentive and knowledgeable. The Chef Tammy came out to our table. The best overall dining experience I’ve had in years from the quality and flavor of the food to the service.

One of our stops when we come to Rehoboth each year. Again tonight they did not disappoint. Our steaks were perfection along with the brandy mushroom sauce. The caramelized cheese cake is not to be missed. Top notch from the front door. I love that the owner takes time to stop at your table.

Once again 1776 was amazing! It is our go to place when we want to have a special dining experience. The food was perfectly prepared and the entire staff was professional, courteous and friendly. We highly recommend 1776 to everyone!

Service was excellent. Alex was our waiter. To start the meal we received what looked like store bought rolls that were not worth wasting calories. I feel like a nicer restaurant needs to serve homemade bread or at least quality bread. French onion soup was good but the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were essentially peel and eat shrimp. They did not have the flavor/texture/size of shrimp cocktail. My husband had prime rib which was flavorful. I had the crab cakes which were ok. Did not need the panko coating on outside—added nothing. We had the devils own cake—the cake was good but the icing was sickening sweet. This was our first visit and we're not overly impressed.

We went for my husband's Birthday. The hostess was so sweet and wished him a Happy Birthday, but that was the last we heard of it. Nothing else special, like a candle with his desert. (deserts were delicious). Dinner was tasty, but the steaks were a bit dry. Drinks were delicious

Great experience everytime. One of the best resteraunts in the Rehoboth Beach area. I would recommend this establishment to anyone interested. Thank you!
