Above the Dunes

A+ Food and Atmosphere! We came in for lunch this weekend as part of our pre Christmas trip and were very impressed with the extent of Christmas decorations. It was the best display we experienced all season. To top that off, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! Service was just as good. Great to see a local restaurant take things up a notch and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the beach, in the offseason. Thanks so much for all your efforts! Also can’t beat the perfect view of the ocean!

We stopped on a Lark when in Rehoboth for lunch. We would have stayed two days if it wouldn't be awkward. We sat on the window in a beautifully decorated winter wonderland. Our server Cara was outstanding as was everything we ate from the Maryland crab soup, chicken tenders and Bang bang shrimp tacos. Dessert was a treat as well. The Mother's cheesecake and the warm apple tart with ice cream rocked!

Awesome food and great drinks! The service is excellent,.and we loved this place during the summer but the Christmas decorations make it even more warm and inviting! Love everything about this place!

We had so much fun! And the food was great. We had fish tacos, jambalaya, salmon, bacon wrapped jalapeños and ceviche. Then finished with triple chocolate cake, cheesecake and butter cream cake. Great selection of beer, wine and bourbon. During the day would offer great views of the beach. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Chris, our server, was so friendly and accomodating. He whipped up a special sauce for us to enjoy our stone crabs. It really complimented the crab and enhanced our experience at Above the Dunes! Thanks Chris!!!

We came from out of town, it wasn’t the longest drive but I was ready for some relaxation and some good atmosphere. We wondered down to the beach after dark and it was so cold we couldn’t stand it. We saw green lights in the distance. “What’s that?” Cold and shivering we stumbled inside and met Sam and Blake. They said they were just some local dudes but I could see them for what they were…angels. Sam made me some of the best drinks I’ve ever had and Blake told me tales of pirates and the perfect espresso martini. I sit here now, warmed in the radiant light of the gods turned flesh Sam and Blake. Two heroes fighting the good fight…getting folks drunk as hell. And they did. They really did. Five stars. Would recommend.
