Yeah, so the Detroit style pizza was legit magical. We had that and the more traditional thin crust. Both pies had fresh toppings and are honestly great deals for what you get. Wine selection is decent but could do with a few more options. Service and atmosphere was good.
Food was alright , takeout was mid, ordered a salad and we didnt even get a fork. And didn’t get napkins, also barely put any cheese on pizza. And had more leaves or basil then cheese on the pizza😭
We had a party of about 25, 15 kids and 10 adults. They were happy to accommodate us. The staff wasn’t even frazzled when my 5 year spilled his Shirley temple. Cute little bar if you need to wait to be seated.
Kids all enjoyed their meals. The brick oven pizza is delicious! One of the best I’ve had. Open kitchen concept makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Also just the right about of cocktail and wine/beer selection.
Overall, this place is worth a try and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!
We had a most excellent experience here. Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Also a nice wine selection. I believe there's a very positive, chill vibe which, in part, is due to the exceptional people working here. The manager, Tyler, was very engaged and hands-on, delivering dishes, talking with guests and supporting the staff. We had the meatballs (OMG!!) and the spinach dip appetizers. Never had fried parmesan bowtie pasta but it was delicious! Had the Meatball Breeze thin pizza ( meatballs/spinach/sun-dried tomatoes ) - so tasty and fresh! All of their food is from scratch and the flavors confirm that. We can't wait to come back with friends to share this wonderful experience with them.
What a fantastic spot! It’s conveniently located just off the main road, making it perfect for getting together with friends. It’s nice and cozy—not too loud—so you can easily chat without raising your voice! We enjoyed some delicious pizza, pasta, and even gluten-free pasta; everyone loved their meals. Plus, the prices are super reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely a place worth visiting!
Had a great meal and we had a sizeable group. Nice place!
Excellent pizza and salad. But service was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I server was nice enough but we Had to ask for three different people for utensils. And then still had to get up and go get utensils ourselves from the server station! Would not go back despite the good food.
Detroit pizza is so light and fluffy. Fantastic
Detroit style pizza with meatball slices on top was so good.

We had an excellent dinner, and excellent service by Gavin. We were on our way to the theatre, so on a timeline. We had 7 people, ranging in age from 60-something to 93, everyone with their own orders, and we asked for 5 checks among the 7 of us. Gavin was “unflappaple,” made us feel he was on our schedule not his. And by the way, the food was delicious. Our pizza had a perfect crust.

Sat by the door. Very windy and cold. Drapes kept hitting us in the back and people entering kept hitting us as tried to walk thru the drapes.

Today, I visited Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for the very first time.
I live in Alexandria, VA. I maybe have pizza five or six times a year - and so when I have pizza, it has to be really good.
The pizza has to be awesome - because I'm someone who has maintained a weight loss of 70 pounds for over 10 years.
I had the great fortunate today of eating at Ava's Pizzeria and Wine Bar in Rehoboth Beach. The service was absolutely awesome - they are so nice and treated me like family (I'm dead serious - the staff was so nice to me). I ordered the Detroit Style Pizza - and they actually gave me a coupon covering a buy one get one free pizza (they honestly treated me like royalty - that was an unexpected coupon - praise to the bartender for taking care of me). The pizza was A plus - it was awesome.
I highly encourage that you spend your money here. Thank you for treating me so well.

I don’t like pizza, but my server Gavin convinced me to give Ava’s pizza a chance. I ordered the Detroit Pig Pen and oh my goodness, delicious. Unfortunately I am not local, but I know if I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be stopping by Ava’s!
