The Back Porch is wonderful with delicious food and cocktails. We were a large group 20+ and they sat us at several tables on the patio. The server Dee was very professional and attentive. Each one of our party raised about the food. They are only open Thursday to Sunday so plan accordingly to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. Be sure to order the flaming coffee cocktail!

Had a lovely dinner there last Friday night with a friend. We shared the ravioli appetizer, delicate and delicious! Enjoyed the scallops for my main course, and my friend had the lobster linguine, also very delicious! I also enjoyed the lemon lemon basil cocktail immensely. We ended our meal with a flaming coffee, what a great ending to a wonderful meal! And our server, I forgot her name, was very attentive, Sweet, and knowledgeable! 😀

Ten of us were lucky enough to get a Sunday brunch reservation. It took a few minutes for service to catch up to us, but it was very good following. Most of us started with tea, coffee, mimosas, or a bloody Mary. Plentiful bowls of assorted breads and scones were brought out while we waited for our mains. I refrained from eating half of them, they were that good.
Now this is on me, but I was hungover, and just wanted eggs over easy, bacon, and toast, but the menu was more dignified than I, so I ordered a gruyere cheese omelet, which was good but too salty for me. My wife's dish was also salty. Generally everyone was more than happy with the brunch, and I would be more than happy to return. Cheers!

The Back Porch is, without question, the best restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. The food is consistently extraordinary — fresh, creative, and prepared with impeccable technique. Flavors are perfectly balanced, and their cocktails, like the lemon basil martini, are crafted with the same care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and owners Dimitri and Aksana, along with their wonderful staff, make every guest feel truly special. My wife and I find ourselves comparing dining experiences elsewhere to The Back Porch — and nothing ever quite measures up. More than just a meal, it’s an experience that sets the standard for dining in Rehoboth. Truly can't say enough. Best of the best!

The menu featured unusual ingredients in the salads and entrees. Upscale offerings. Our party of three tried the lamb, halibut, and eggplant entrees. We were satisfied but not wowed. The lamb was over cooked and the marinara sauce on the eggplant was not tomato based, and the base was not identifiable. The roasted beet salad and the mesclun salads were good. My halibut was done perfectly.
The most outstanding course of the whole dining experience was dessert, flaming coffee. The flaming coffee was prepared and lit tableside. A most enjoyable and delicious way to have coffee.
Our server was attentive and helpful and expertly prepared and flamed our coffee.

Today was our 7th visit since May. The Back Porch Cafe has become our favorite place for lunch or dinner in the Rehoboth-Lewes area. Eduardo is an artist! His cocktails are original and delicious. My wife loves their filet and crab ravioli. The risotto stuffed eggplant is the best vegan dish in the area and I really enjoy the pepper cured loin of tuna. At lunch, the chilled cucumber will soup is outstanding, refreshing and unique. If you're visiting the area, The Back Porch Cafe is a must!
I had a delightful dinner on the patio, with the highlight being the Roasted Beet Salad. All of the food was delicious, but that salad...superb. The combination of the cumin roasted beets, roasted fennel, blood oranges, and delicious garlicky dressing was amazing. I will try, and fail, to replicate it at home.

We didn’t make a reservation since season is over now and at this time of the year not too much population at the shore anyway. When we go in, even though it was a dinner time , at 6 o’clock Literally the place was empty. Before Host greets us he gave us an attitude , looking from top the toe and asked us if we have an appointment. We said no and he pretended looking at reservation list and looked us from top to toe one more time and said unfortunately there is no availability even though there were only few people inside , like 6-7 people. I never felt like been treated like this in my life before. I think they don’t like the out siders and only serving local community. They don’t treat you like patronage instead treating you like they have created the whole world. Just put yourself in my shoes and think for a second what can make me sit down and write all my feelings and experiences if that was only a reservation issue. I hate ignorant, redneck and “look down on you “ people. This place needs better employees.
