The server tells you up front that the wait of food will be over 20 minutes. To me that it means the dishes are freshly made. They are tasty. If you r not hurry or extremely hungry, it is worthy of waiting. The crab dip was delicious.

We stopped in here for a margarita today while on the boardwalk. I had a frozen mango margarita to go and my sister had a strawberry margarita in the rock to go. Neither one of us could taste any tequila in our drinks…It was just sugary sweet.

I got very ill due to being served food that I'm allergic to, after checking with them multiple times. They acknowledged the error... and still charged me for it.
I dropped by when it was quiet to ask about safe options for my allium allergy (it's a weird allergy so I find its better to ask when they're not busy). The next day I visited with my family, re-explained my allergy, ordered one of those safe options, and asked the server to please doublecheck that it was safe. I only ate two bites before I started to feel an allergic reaction and stopped. I asked our server to please check again and she came back with the bad news: the kitchen reaffirmed that it was fine but the manager told her no, my meal did contain my allergen. I asked for the check so I could get home and take some medicine right away. I was surprised they still charged me for the bad meal that I couldn't eat, but I couldn't stay there to even discuss it.
Even without the allergy issue it was disappointing. They served the food at different times - my daughters food came so early that she finished her entire meal before I got anything. My wifes fish tacos came out 5 minutes after that but were so unpleasantly fishy that she hardly ate them at all.
Sorry but I won't be visiting here again.

I had boardwalk tacos from the window. The tacos were made fresh and were excellent. I’ll be getting more before I leave this week!

This place has great seating overlooking the beach/boardwalk. That is basically all I can say that is favorable. The poor service we received would cause me to not return. We were seated at our request at the seats overlooking the boardwalk. There were empty glasses and dirty dishes to the right of us and three people in another party on the other side. I assumed the hostess would be back to clear the dishes however that never happened. We ordered drinks and a chips/guacamole appetizer. My cocktail took forever to come and we ended up getting the appetizer first. Turns out our server was also the bartender and busy making other drinks. No big deal except he never had time to check on us again. The guacamole was good, however it was a shame most of the chips were not whole and basically were crumbs. When we were finished, I asked a different server if she could bring our bill which she said she would, but never did. I then went over to the hostess and asked how I could get my bill and she directed me to the bar, not sure why she couldn't help with this as she was browsing her phone when I walked up. I was hoping for a better experience.

I can’t even leave a review in the food and drink because the service was so atrocious. The hosts said two words even after we asked specific questions about menu and bar. Not one server made eye contact and the bartender was too overwhelmed to really help us.

Been here last year when it first opened loved it then with the opening crew and now this summer 2025 they added so many new items on the menu !!! The options on the menu are delicious and authentic Mexican food REAL street tacos. Great touch for the boardwalk
I sat at the bar on Saturday afternoon August 16th. The bar counter is beautiful, with a finish that looks like the ocean. I ordered a Blue Margarita. It was delicious. I thought the atmosphere was very pleasant, and welcoming. I am someone who enjoys being in public, meeting new people and seeing new places. I had a 100% positive experience. People near me ordered a variety of food items that really looked amazing. I will definitely return to Baja Bob's. I have already told many people about this great place and I'll bring them with me next time. The drink that I had really left me drooling for another one. For sure, next month.

We did takeout and the order took forever. Then after I left I realized the waiter forgot our salsa and the forks so had to go back to get them. The food was probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had… I realize this is a beach place but even with that standard, it was bad. Wouldn’t recommend.

Don’t go here. You’ll wait forever. Cashier tried charging me more than double the price of the item I asked for. I asked for chicken and they told me I said I wanted steak. Then had me waiting around for a refund. Just go somewhere else
