Although this is a wonderful breakfast spot (with the best French toast around), they are NOT serving breakfast during the summer of 2022.
Best Breakfast and I’ve Cream in Rehoboth. Make sure to visit places like The Royal Treat off of the main drag. The best places in Rehoboth are the ones that have existed the longest.
The best service and food.
We've been visiting this standout Breakfast and Ice Cream parlor for the 40 years it's been in existence and it still never fails to impress. Even though the building is old, it has a charm that can't be replaced. The Hershey's Ice Cream were all great, hot fudge is pleasantly memorable, and the experience fun! Thanks for another great year; see you in 2022!!
Great Food, Great Service! I had a cheese omelette with Bacon, perfectly cooked and way too big to finish. Great Coffee! My waitresses, Olivia and Molly were sweet as pie! Our Hostess, Deb, was so nice and accomodating! Very spotless, well cared for, Rehoboth Institution. On the beach block of Wilmington Ave, a great location. I will be back often
The best ice cream in Rehoboth Beach!
Best breakfast and the best people.
Great old fashion ice cream parlor. Its a must go to.
Best breakfast in Rehoboth. Fantastic people!
This is the BEST breakfast place around! We love their French toast and pancakes! We always get their crispy bacon and home fries. Scott (the owner) is wonderful. Dan (the cook) is great, too! Everyone that works here is so accommodating. Deb is so sweet, as the hostess. I have Celiac Disease and they are always careful with my food! Love this place!!

I just enjoyed a wonderful hot fudge sundae at Royal Treat, one of our favorite places in Rehoboth. It is open in the morning for breakfast and then later for ice cream treats! Highly recommend a trip there to sit on one of their 2 screen porches and watch what’s going on outside.
This is the one place I insist on having every year. We went last week and I got my annual scoop of moose tracks. Prices are a little high for 1 scoop of ice cream, but it is worth it. The staff are always so incredibly friendly and they have a big front porch to eat on. You must come here!
COVID-19 Review I have been coming here for years for their wonderful ice cream, but I had my first experience today with their breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. It is a basic menu ... eggs, protein, and toast ... with some sweeter options like pancakes and french toast. I went for one of their larger combos which combined several of these items (eggs, bacon, whole wheat toast, and pancakes). Let me start off by saying that their portions were quite generous. For example, my order of bacon came with six pieces (basically double what I expected). And my daughter had scrambled eggs which were supposed to represent two eggs, but looked like three or four. So the food really hit the spot in all ways!!! And the service was great (as usual) ... with a wonderful screened in porch for a relaxing outdoor eating experience. They only offer breakfast until 11:30AM ... so make sure you plan ahead!
The food especially the ice cream is great along with the customer service. One of my children left their AirPods in the restaurant and the manager was kind enough to send to our home in NJ.
First, you're going to see a line. Don't worry, this place has a lot of tables and the line moves pretty quick. I've been eating at Royal Treat since I was a little kid, so there are a lot of fond memories made here. For me, the classic breakfast is two or three massive pancakes with whipped butter and syrup, followed by a side of ham (not bacon, the ham is where it's at) and a tall sundae glass filled with orange juice. Top it off with a coffee or three! The best spots are the porches, no question. You get to watch beachgoers go to and from the boardwalk, plus the sea breezes and the sound of the waves are relaxing, Make sure to allocate 1 - 1.5 hours for here to account for the line. Also come back for ice cream after the breakfast / brunch is over - the ice cream is great and topping a day at the beach with a root beer float or malted milkshake is ridiculously nostalgic.
