The Thanksgiving takeout was absolute superb. Much better than expected for a take-out meal. Portions were generous, enough for those favorite Thanksgiving leftovers. Everything from the soup to dessert was spectacular. We’ll be back next year.

Big Fish never disappoints us. We've been ordering our Thanksgiving Dinner from them for at least ten years now. Always a winner!

We went to the restaurant asking about outdoor dog-friendly seating, but they don't have it in the off season. So we asked about to-go orders and they sent us to the market next door.We were able to order quickly and our food was ready within 20 minutes. The seafood was fresh and delicious. All the fried seafood (oysters, seafood combo) were great and the crab cake sandwich disappeared in a few minutes. My grilled scallops were flavorful and tender, not rubbery at all. My only complaint is I think they gave me one wrong dish -- I had ordered the teriyaki glazed scallops with saffron rice and fries, but they just gave me a scallop skewer with fries. Regardless it was still delicious!

They have a lot selection (unless you go on Sunday when they don't get deliveries) and I thought the pricing was really fair. I would recommend them for fresh seafood.

We ordered a variety of seafood items for take out for a party of 7. When ordering, they were out of a lot of menu items, forcing alternative meal choices. We were given 1 bag and told it was our order, only to get back and realize that we were missing another bag with the rest of the order, and called. They "then" found the 2nd bag and upon return, we realized still they left 1 entree out. items. I had previously searched hard for a great place with great ratings, and am highly disappointed in the Big Fish Seafood Market. All we got was "we're sorry" - no discount or write-off for their mistake. NOTHING but aggravation, family not eating together, and regret for wasting our money!

I want to share my complete disappointment with a recent catering order. Each year we host a large pool party, and BFG has been our caterer for 3 years running. We've always been happy with the service, the quality and the price. However this year that was not the case. We spent nearly $800 and definitely did NOT get our money's worth. To begin, there were two mezze platters that were missing the hummus. Each of the two platters were randomly put together and did not contain the same items. One had no olives or artichoke hearts. The other was overloaded with dried figs. I expected uniformity when ordering two identical items.Next, I paid $70 for a chopped salad that was, frankly, a bowl with about $15 worth of lettuce with a handful each of tomato, cucumber, and corn. I don't mind paying for the convenience of not having to make it myself, but this was highway robbery. The grilled vegetable panini platters (I ordered two) are always a huge hit. This year, they were not cut and were tremendously soggy. I was left trying to cut soggy sandwiches as my guests arrived. Finally, I ordered two trays of **assorted** cookies. I received two trays of **sugar** cookies that were stacked while still hot, leaving us with a sticky sugar cookie mess. Cookies could not be separated from each other, and I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the fact that there was NO variety. To say I'm disappointed is an absolute understatement. I don't believe I can trust BFG for catering in the future, and this is entirely disheartening. We really trusted and relied on this restaurant after years of GOOD, QUALITY food at a good VALUE. But this was certainly not that.I want to add that I am not typically a "keyboard warrior" who posts bad reviews. But I did try to reach out to BFG and did not receive any response, so I feel it's worth it to warn others before they end up in a situation like mine.

I wrote a "TWO_STAR" review a week ago and though the problems with that order were real and annoying and had given me reason to find other places to buy seafood, the manager called me, apologized and sent me a generous gift card. It is one thing to screw up an order but there is good reason to see this glitch in the service of the order I received on July 15 as a one-time thing and I have a renewed confidenece that the Big Fish Market will be the quality place I have known in the past.

Bought a greek salad with shrimp and fried calamari. Tipped 25% at the counter. Had to wait 15-20 minutes so we waited on the patio right in front of the doors. Was then given the wrong order. Once I received the correct order was then told we couldn’t sit there and had to leave because it was for “table service”. Absolutely ludicrous behavior and awful customer service. Food was okay but won’t be going back to the market or restaurant. Lots of better options, with better food and without the nonsense.
