We had a fantastic breakfast. My photo doesn't do it justice and I forgot to take pictures of the sausage gravy and French Toast. Our server was super attentive and fun. Also they have Gluten Free options.

If you like lukewarm oatmeal and thin waffles, this is your go to place. For us, it was NEVER AGAIN!
Only two good memories: the non-alcoholic drink, Elderberry Limeade, was good and our server, who was very attentive.

I had an amazing breakfast at Guru!! Food
was delicious. I tried the eggs Benedict and it was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out for a great start to your day!

Everything was “decent”. Got the mushroom swiss omelet and my SO got the Eggs Benedict. Every standard meal comes w/ semi-crispy potato chunks (very small portion of flavorless potatoes) and a baffling salad(?). The salad is plain greens mix you get from Kroger or something w/ a mediocre amount of balsamic on it. It is essentially dry greens for breakfast. And no you cannot get a substitute for it.
My omelet was middle of the line, I can definitely make a better tasting one myself but I appreciate the amount of mushrooms in it. Eggs Benedict was tasty, definitely better than the omelet.
I will say that when the toast w/ honey is the best part of a dish, you should reconsider how you make your food. Wouldn’t return, especially for 35$ for 2 dishes.

Most breakfast items came with a salad that was basically dry lettuce on your plate. There was an upcharge to substitute anything. The eggs Benedict was decent but I probably would not come back.

-Food- Thoroughly enjoyed the berry french toast and the breakfast burrito (split this with someone else). Very good flavors, great portion sizes. Also, the mimosa varieties were yummy!

Super friendly, very professional staff, lovely atmosphere. Lots of space in between tables, which was nice to let my toddler be out of her chair near our table while waiting for food. Great coffee, great pancakes, bacon, and sausage. Gluten free pancakes were very good. We were able to get buttered toast and sausage for my little one with an egg allergy and that was perfect for her. Definitely recommend!
Dietary restrictions: It’s been really hard to find places to eat at the beach that suit both gluten free and egg free dietary restrictions (in children anyway. There are “fancy” gluten free foods but we just want basic stuff like chicken and fries and basic pancakes and such) but this place and our waiter made it simple today and we’re so grateful! Both of my kids with restrictions had meals that made them feel included and they didn’t feel jealous of anyone else’s food cause they were so happy with what they had on their own plates! Thank you Breakfast Guru staff!
Kid-friendliness: Kid-size take-home plastic cups with bendable straws are great.
