Quality seems to have gone down in the last few years. The croissants have grown in size to be American style, but the fillings haven’t expanded to match the extra added dough. Most importantly, however, the croissants are limp and chewy rather than being crunchy and fresh. They feel like basic grocery store croissants now. Very disappointing. They would probably be better if you could take them home and warm them to a nice crisp in the oven, but few of us tourists have ovens.
Stopped by this bakery while wandering around the boardwalk with my boyfriend. I am so glad we did because the croissants were amazing. They were flaky, not overly sweet, and freshly baked. My boyfriend and I made a point to stop by the next morning for breakfast again before leaving town, between both visits, we tried the almond, apricot, and raspberry cheese croissants. We also got a coffee and a smoothie. All of the items we got were great. We will be making a point to stop...
Whenever we come to Rehoboth Beach for vacation, this is my #1 favorite spot to eat and has been for over 10 years. The crepes are so delicious and the workers and owner are very nice people.
