Cafe Azafran Rehoboth

My husband and I made reservations here to celebrate our 11th anniversary. This restaurant was very tight and extremely nosey for our liking. It was not exactly the romantic setting that we had hoped for. The sever was as very nice but the food took so long to come out. The food was good, but nothing that we would return for. Too crammed and too nosey!

Their steak night was great. The food was excellent and prepared to our liking. Service was good. We've been there before and will go again.

Excellent & love the new menu. I love that you can make reservations for a table or for the bar...sitting at the bar is always fun.

The food at Cafe Azafran is always delicious. It's perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Although some dishes are a bit pricey, it's worth it. There are seasonal specials and well worth the price.

An absolute treasure- The food, service and experience is excellent. We have been enjoying Cafe Azafran since the 2000s in its original space. Don't miss this opportunity!

Cocktails: great. Seafood special: great value and delicious, especially the soup. Always a go-to.

Everything we ate was terrific!! We had no issues except for our waitress !! She was a sourpuss !! Other than her not smiling once. We managed though it and gave us something to talk about ‘!! Can't figure out why she would act that way. You would think she would want decent tips. We were just surprised!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Cafe Azafran; opting for the Friday night Seafood Pre-Fixe. The cream of crab soup was delicious (not too thick) with a good amount to crab meat. The green salad was on point as well. Middle course small plates included scallops with couscous & Tzatziki, and my mussels were perfectly cooked in a delicious tomato broth. Dinner entrees included Seafood Azores (Bouillabase) and the Mixed Seafood Grill (Shrimp,Salmon, small Crab Cake with great mashed potatoes and mixed veg). All the vegetables were very fresh and well-prepared. Our server(Umut) was great; completely attentive without being intrusive. We sat in the rear dining room which in our opinion (at least in the winter) is the nicest part of the restaurant. The front dining room could really use some updating with the lighting. Nevertheless, we will return again and again whenever we are in town.

Enjoyed the Thursday night special that included a salad, bread, petite fillet and one choice of 3 different sides. Steak was cooked perfectly, salad was fresh w good dressing, bread was crispy and delicious. Side dishes of ratatouille and roasted potatoes were tasty. Overall good food and value.

Tapas were excellent. The waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Had a wonderful table by the front window. We would highly recommend!

David, the bartender is an awesome conversationalist...he makes eating at the bar the best table in the house! The crab fried rice is the only thing I order- I can't help it!!! The shrimp ajillio is a great dish as well!! Cafe Azafran is a favorite!!!

We love Cafe Azafran. Billy is so pleasant when we arrive, and we love when Evan is our server. All servers are phenomenal...but we have a special place in our heart for Evan. He is always so sweet, kind, professional, and we love catching up with him! All food, even their new menu items are outstanding. In the off season we love Thursday steak night and Friday seafood night..but hey any night is magical at Cafe Azafran! Thank you for providing great food and outstanding service. Love you all! I’m a big fan of tapas, and this establishment doesn’t disappoint on the selection. Each tapas was delicious and presentation was excellent.
