Did our weekly date night here on a Friday night. We did the Friday night special for $32/person. It was a 3 course seafood dinner. It was excellent and worth every penny. I had course 1 - A seafood chowder. Course 2 - Seared scallops in a very light mushroom sauce. Course 3 - Large stuffed shrimp with crab meat.

Azafran is reliably and their week night specials are a good value. It's a friendly lively atmosphere - with a singing bartender! Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Rehoboth.

Great little place with a unique menu. Friday seafood special, pick three which my dinner companions really enjoyed. I had the Cesar salad and bone-in pork chop which were delicious. Highly recommend but parking could be a challenge in-season.

Food was amazing. Bar service horrible. Learn how to make proper cocktails and and how it should prepared. A Negroni does not come in a pint glass. As well spend $5 and get proper ice molds. Your ice is not proper for craft cocktails. Maybe train by real mixologist. I won't be back for that reason. There's good food all over town. But a horrible cocktail ruins the evening.

GIVING AN "A+" FOR AZAFRAN! Our party of three began with a lovely, fresh salad. Following, I had the grilled pork tenderloin with butternut gravy, brussels, & cherry compote. The birthday boy ordered the pecorino crusted chicken cutlet, & the third of our party had the scallop appetizer. All dishes were absolutely delicious, & the server was superb in knowledge & service. We definitely recommend Cafe Azafran for a evening out with friends, & for a special occasion.

We were there on Monday--shrimp night--several delicious shrimp dishes on the menu. I had the garlic lemon shrimp and veggies and rice. Delicious. It's a good bet that Cafe Azafran will always please.

This is a busy restaurant any time of year, so reservations are suggested. I had the crab fried rice. It met my expectations for flavor and was more than I could eat.. I took home half. My dinner companions had rib eye steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. they both finished everything on their plates. My husband said it's the best rib eye he has had in Rehoboth. My son had the salad and birria tacos on the tapas menu. He seemed quite content with his choice. The carrot cake was delicious, and a great way to end the meal.

Great place , great atmosphere, the food was great and well presented. I would recommend making a Reservation and give yourself extra time to find parking.Parking: Parking was terrible, it was the off season and I had to park over a block away from the restaurant, that wouldn’t be terrible if it was freezing cold out.

We always love eating at Cafe Azafran. Nice vibe, awesome clients, great food. Incredibly, we have never taken advantage of Monday's "Shrimp Night" until this visit! WOW, what a deal. Nice salad, great olives and our shrimp putanesca and shrimp with pesto and penne were delicious. Great wine prices also.

The Ceasar Salad was mushy, the mushroom barley soup left a strange after taste and our wait person brought food out randomly even though we specified what should come first. Our friend got all 3 things he ordered at the same time. Lobster Reuben was delicious though!
Started with their Seared Sea Scallops. Couldn't decide if I was going to just order four more plates of scallops and call it a night they were so good. Decided to go for a large plate and I'm glad a did. Can't stop raving about the Vegetarian plate. The attention to detail for both dishes, the plating, textures, flavors were all so complimentary and delicious. If this were in DC, it would be my new favorite restaurant. My guest had a Gilled Seafood Platter. Equally good but it was on special. The ambience was actually better than a four. It was nice, warm and quiet enough to enjoy dinner without having to yell. I might have given it a five except details are important. The only downside to our meal, our table was too close to the adjacent table and the waiter kept standing between the two tables which mean his posterior was face high with my guest. And the waiter seemed oblivious to his encroachment on our personal space while working his table. No, he wasn't our waiter as well or we might have mentioned it to him. Still, I'd return in a heart beat and will begin prayers that they open a branch in the DMV area to add to their DelMarVa presence.

The green beans with hazel nuts were a stand out as were the scallops, but everything was delicious. Bread was a but stale, but we weren't there for the bread. Highly recommend you try this cozy restaurant!

Our server was magnificent, making suggestions and helping with choices. The food was absolutely delicious, nicely portioned, and beautifully served. Will be going back for certain.

Being Spanish I feel there was not decent representation of any Spanish meal. Price point was high. Service plan olive oil with no herbs with the bread was ridiculous. This is not a restaurant I would return to nor suggest to my friends.

Our party of 6 enjoyed a wide variety of tapas and main-dish large plates during our dinner, along with salads and desserts. Everything (without exception) in our large order was excellent. Really interesting flavors, beautifully presented, and served by an attentive and welcoming server. While prices certainly have risen (especially for the tapas), we still think our meal was a good value because it was so well-prepared and creative. The ambiance, because of the lack of sound-absorbing materials in the dining room and the close proximity to the bar, was louder than we would have preferred, forcing all the diners near us (not just us) to raise their voices to be heard at our tables. We are regular customers at Azafran, and will continue to enjoy it in the future!
