All the staff are friendly, they offer much more than just crabs. Everybody in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their food and all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious.

One of our Rehoboth staples, good food at a decent price if you want a quick casual family meal.

September 2025 Edit: Another year, another trip to Rehobeth, another dinner at Claws. This time, however, my entire family did the all-you-can-eat crabs special. We had an absolute blast. The crabs were bountiful, as were the sides and the fixins. We already can’t wait to do it again next year. I’d probably improve my rating to 4.5 stars if Google would let me.

Out of the crabs we got, 5 out of 6 were good. Plenty of meat and delicious. The one bad crab looks like it starved to death before it was cooked. The pretzel was good with plenty of cheese and decent chunks of crab. Service was good and relatively fast. It's kind of a old restaurant so don't expect bougie atmosphere but it has its charm

Food was outstanding! Our party ordered a variety of dishes (shrimp, stuffed grouper, fish tacos, lobster roll, oysters, crab legs) and everything was delicious. Our server was attentive and very professional. I will definitely go back!

I'll start with a positive, the service was excellent. Everything else was just fair. My gripe with this place is that they claimed to have extra large crabs when I called ahead. I even asked twice and they insisted that they indeed had extra large crabs. The crabs they brought to our table were true mediums. Most definitely not large or extra large. Some had 1 or even both claws missing. The steamed shrimp were overcooked and did not taste as fresh as other places. They charged us for extra larges which is truly deceitful. My party didn't want to complain mostly because the staff was so young and the service was very good. Bottom line, this place is a rip off.

we go there every time we come to Dewey beach, we take the jolly trolley over and have never been disappointed, the hush puppies with the honey butter are out of this world the food alone is top shelf, the staff is always friendly and very polite, without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Rehoboth Beach.

As always, we had a wonderful experience. We've been enjoying Claws Seafood House since we began going down to Rehoboth. Specifically, this past Sunday (8/17/25), we had the pleasure of having Lexi (hope I spelled that right) as our server. Such a wonderful person with a heartwarming smile and personality. During our time at the restaurant, the party next to us had some sort of an issue. Lexi and the on-duty manager handled the customer's concern(s) with the utmost professionalism. If you have the opportunity when visiting Rehoboth, do yourself a favor and stop by Claws Seafood House for lunch or dinner. And if you're lucky, Lexi will be your server.

Atmosphere was great save for the waiter, Otto who proceeded to constantly misgender me. You'd think Rehoboth of all places would hire decent humans instead of bigots. Would not recommend.
