I have recently moved to Rehoboth and was told this was the best Chinese food in the area. What a surprise when I went to dinner on 11/16/24. The server was rude from the beginning, rushing us to order drinks and food as soon as we sat down. We placed an order of appetizers and they were cold and tasted like frozen not home made. When I told the server that the appetizers were not up to par she” said well you ate them didn’t you.” While everyone is entitled to having a bad day, which is what I thought I noticed the server was very pleasant to the other customers around us at other tables. Dining experiences should be pleasant and not feel like one is being disrespected.

Exceeding expectations. The entrees are a bit too salty though.

This is the genuine article. The smoked tofu appetizer was something I’ve never seen before but was a hit even for those who don’t normally go for tofu. The owner explained that it was from her hometown in Hunan Province. Next time I’m in China I’m headed there! In the meantime it’s great to have this option hidden in Rehoboth here!!

We perhaps we ate there on an off night, according to other reviews I read. We ordered 2 soups, wonton and hot and sour. The wonton soup was very bland (would not order that again). The hot and sour was good. Next we ordered vegetable lo mein with chicken. The chicken was so tough and chewy and tasteless, we were very disappointed. Also the vegetables were almost nonexistent. When we complained to our waitress and manager, they refused to acknowledge our concerns. Will not be returning to that restaurant again!

Chinese with inventive twists. Hostess Danielle will treat you like royalty, and her husband's French take on several Chinese dishes along with traditional favorites will give your palate royal pleasure. Many standouts, but Seafood Confucius is a triple seafood delight,

Absolutely our favorite place to eat in Rehoboth. We have been stopping in every year we visit Rehoboth. Confucius is always consistently great. I look forward to the 5 spice duck everytime. My wife had the seafood a La Confucius, and it was outstanding. Can't wait until next year!

We have been dinning at Confucius for over 12 years as visitors Now that we currently live here we dine with them more often. Bringing friends and family to dine with us when they are visiting. Food is always cooked to order so you know it's fresh and always delicious . Service is great and the owners Danielle and Shawn are amazing.
