Since the new ownership has been in place, the menu items are not nearly as good. I agree with a previous review that the sweet tea brined chicken is horrible. It used to be my all time favorite. Now it is too salty and dry. Unless they return to the old recipes when they reopen, we may only return there for the comfortable bar seats and drinks (unless they change those things).Parking: Best in the off season

My first time there with friends. I had the meatloaf with dirty rice, hush puppys and string onions. I didnt like that the meatloaf was drowning in their sause and still was dry, overcooked. The hush puppys were hard as rock. Onions limpy and over seasoned. Mistake on my captain and diet coke. I ended up in the mens room vomiting and continued back at my home. With tip:$ 80.08 usd. My laat time.

Been coming here for years for sweet tea fried chicken, it was one of my favorites! Came tonight and it was terrible, completely different! ... Very salty, with a bad tasting flour crust, not at all the sweet tea fried chicken I've been getting. After saying something to our server, she said the place is under new ownership since October, and they are changing some recipes, and this is one they changed. Well this was one you shouldn't have messed with... I come here from Baltimore several times a year, looking forward to eating here, seems there's nothing to look forward to at Cooter Browns now... I think the on season regulars will feel the same way.

I had the bourbon glazed peach salmon with rice and excellent brussel sprouts and this dish was by far one of the BEST salmon dishes I've ever had. The brussel sprouts were expertly crispy and tender and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were strong and delicious 10/10 service and the rooftop outdoor dining experience was relaxed and awesome.

Beware this place was horrible The Staff are mean the bathrooms were in sanitary. And I even saw the staff be nasty to an African American family with toddlers. We had high hopes for this place when we google things to do. Food wasnt as expected and our talking to the staff was ignored They should be embarrassed and ashamed. Delaware should be embarrassed.

Great place to people watch, especially during the Sea Witch festival. Staff were all dressed up-they looked great! The hostess was super fun!Food was okay, service was lacking. Our server had a hard time taking our order. Unfortunately, we watched her change out all of the bathroom garbages and head right back to serving without washing her hands.? Drinks were yummy, we tried the Cooter Shooter shot which was very good and came with a souvenir shot glass. The Frankenrita was yummy and was adorned with black salt. Fun! The whiskey dip sandwich was very yummy, Brussels were flavorful but drenched in sauce. Fries were perfect!! Corn chowder (with a tiny bit of crab) and the crab dip were just okay-we’ve got pretty high standards for these with our local MD restaurants setting the bar so high. I’d say a drink and an app and moving on is your best bet here.

We enjoy coming here. The food selection is very unique and not run of the mill at all! Very original. The bar has a variety of whiskey and bourbon. The outdoor seating on a sunny fall day is therapeutic! You won't be disappointed!

Located in walking distance to the Boardwalk, this second floor location is a great stop for classic southern favorites. We enjoyed fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs and pickle fries, with crab dip and loved everything we got. Great sweet tea, along with great ambiance and service!Outdoor dining is available, but parking is along the road, so don't expect that to be easy to find.

What an amazing restaurant! One block from the ocean in Rehoboth Beach, DE, this quirky, second-story BBQ joint (more than bbq on the menu, but that’s what drew me in) had tons of character and the best food that we had in Rehoboth! Everyone sees it as they walk to the beach. Do yourself a favor and eat there next time you’re in this charming, fairly hidden Atlantic Ocean beach town.

PROS:Good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Had the bbq bourbon wings (4 full wings) and the BBQ BOURBON burger with fries. Delicious!!!! My hubby had the half rack of ribs with dirty rice and Mac. Nothing left over on his plate! My son had the honey fried chicken Po boy which was ok. The Burnt Orange Manhattan is delicious along with another spicy Margarita with jalapeño and Tajin. We had a short wait time for a Saturday evening. 20-25 mins for 4.CONS:Unfortunately we were the first to be seated in a pretty empty area and then after that same room filled up we still were the last to be served our food. It was pretty annoying to see people that came in after us, eat, drink and pay their bill and we still didn’t have our food. It was really bizarre. Our waitress never came back to our table. It was terrible service. We actually were going to leave but out came our food. We won’t be returning.

I didn't get to take pictures, but everything we ate as a family was good.If you like brussel sprouts, you'll LOVE theirs. Brisket was great also. Great atmosphere, you can dine out on the balcony or inside. Yummy drinks also. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available. Cups with lids for kids and a kids menu.
