Great atmosphere and service was decent but the food salty enough to for a heart attack! I’m from the south and I was overwhelmed so I’m not sure how the locals tolerate it.

My husband and I went there the week they were getting ready to close down for the season. You would think that they would just phone it in, but they were on top of it. The food was amazing. The drinks were phenomenal, and the staff couldn't be more courteous and friendly.

What happened to this restaurant which used to be my favorite? The service was great but the food came out late, it was cold and overall wasn't a pleasant experience. I miss the old Crab House when everything was excellent. I will not be returning.

No frills atmosphere, but it's exactly what the name says. Paper on the tables for lots of crab crackin'. The crab dip was, to me, very salty; others at the table enjoyed it. Had the buffet (no longer available). The fishes weren't super flavorful, but the scallops and mussels were delicious. They make their hush puppies sweet, not savory, so our party was divided on those. The crabs were seasoned well. The kids loved their meals.

My family and I ate here on august 21. I ordered the fried chicken platter. It took forever to get and came out raw. Seriously my family was almost finished eating before my meal came out. When I cut into the chicken it was raw not one piece but all four. The waiter apologized and took my food. A few minutes later he asked me if i wanted anything else. He was not surprised the chicken was raw. He did nothing to assure me that the food would be better. So I sat and watched my family eat with nothing. The waiter did say that I should stop at chick fil a on the way home. A manager never came out to apologize so I really doubt they care. Stay away from this place.

Food was great, best crab we had so far. The crab dip was great (order extra toast) the wings had great flavor. The crab and sides were very good, broccoli was actually cooked perfectly. The deserts are enormous just share them. The wedge salad was really good and it's big.

First of all, it’s way too expensive. If it was priced 10-20 per person I would actually have enjoyed this. The restaurant was dirty with garbage everywhere, not to mention the constant smell of sewage coming from the front of the restaurant. The food service feels like a hotel breakfast, combined with a soup kitchen. Just depressing. I’d say the best part was the dessert, but not worth the rest. The crabs are okay with barely any meat. We ordered 2 for the table but only feeds 3 people. If you or anyone has any thoughts about going here, turn around.
