Awesome food, drink and atmosphere. Come here every time in Rehoboth! New favorite Grateful Dead.

Great food and even greater beer! I dig IPAs and they had quite a selection including a hand pulled cask ale IPA. We were here during low season, so it was easy getting a table and service was attentive and quick. Can't wait to come back.

I’ve had dogfish head beer at other places, but it was so amazing having it fresh here. That alone is worth coming for, but the food was fantastic too. Truly delicious, fresh, interesting food and beer.

Great place and great service. I got the harvest salad with chicken, pretzel bites, and a flight of beer.

Had lamb burger, honey roasted brussel sprouts and Grateful Dead beer, Smith Island cake with strawberries and cream. All very good, service was great. Would love to come back.

My dining experience was mixed. I had a cheddar cheeseburger with a side caesar salad. The burger was big, juicy and overall delicious. The salad, however, was a bit disappointing. The salad was swimming in a tasteless caesar dressing that only had a couple of croutons. Service was excellent; very professional and friendly. Atmosphere was very lively and energetic with multiple TVs throughout. Would just like them to improve upon their salads.

DFH old fashioned was pretty good, the pumpkin ale was decent but didn't have that pumpkin i was looking for. The pickle chips and the Almost shipped my pants wings were very good! The chili hot dog duo was decent. The bartender Alec was very fast and doing a great job running the front. Definitely come back next year!

I was enjoying a great pizza and wrapping up the evening with a hefty pour of the incredible World Wide Stout, chilling with my bros and expounding on life and love, when I left I inexplicably left my keys at the table (I blame the Stout). I texted them at 5 AM after tearing the house up and the next morning they said they have them! I made my way over and a true mensch handed them over, “fixing” them with a dogfish head keychain and asked me if I enjoyed my time last night. A true class act and they run a fine establishment that reflects the awesome people they employ. Thanks again for going above and beyond and see you when we reconvene next year!!

Love the Dogfish Head beer, but wow, the service was terrible. The hostess was lackluster, not helpful and the bartender had the personality of a wet rag. Find a different profession my man, a people person you are not.
Food was good and of course the beer selection was great and tasty. We will still buy their beer but certainly don't need to visit this location again.

When I lived in Delaware back in the 90s, I was a regular at this place. I hadn't been there in probably 20 years, but while spending a few days in Rehoboth Beach, I thought I'd go back. The beers and ales were always good, and still are. The menu in the 90s had a number of creative and tasty offerings, including a grilled Atlantic salmon sandwich, which was my favorite. Sadly, that is no longer available. The Dogfish Head also moved into new digs during the interim (their old place was a couple of blocks closer to the canal). The old location had character, but it was also getting a bit worse for wear and was always overcrowded, so they definitely needed more space. For this visit, I just sat at the bar because I was by myself and didn't want to wait and then take up a table.
I realized that what makes the Dogfish Head great isn't just the food or the brews, although both of these are good, but the people. Emma behind the bar greeted me with a friendly smile, seemed genuinely happy to see me, took my order promptly, got everything right, and even took time out to chat a bit. She was super busy making the weird drinks people seem to want on vacation, but her level of service was superb. I had the fish & chips, which was done just right and served piping hot from the kitchen. The food runner brought it out, made sure it was correct, and got me all the necessary condiments. The fish is hake (related to cod - I had to Google it to find out), and although it's not salmon, it was pretty good.
Dogfish Head has evolved since the 90s, and possibly matured a bit from the rough and tumble place it used to be, but they have kept their north star on service and quality. I highly recommend it, even if you have to wait for a table.
p.s. Check out my novel The Sussex Sportsman Club for an eco-adventure crime mystery romance set right here at the Delaware beaches. It's on Amazon.

This place is a really good brewery with a pretty exceptional menu of food to add to the experience.
The beers on their tap list are to die for. Any choice on the list and you will not be steered in the wrong direction. On the untappd app, you will find yourself giving these beers a score over 4 as their flavor profiles are solid throughout.
As for their food items, a huge majority of their menu is really tasty as their kitchen is amazing. The one item I would not go for is their pizza. Their pizzas in some instances contain way too much ricotta and can send all of the other harmonious flavors to the back burner as the flavor of the cheese can overtake the pallet. I would not recommend some of those options in particular, but their other items are truly exquisite.
This is a place that has a great atmosphere, service and menu throughout and I would definitely return for the foreseeable future to keep diving into this experience.

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and spotless — the seating was comfortable, and the cleanliness of the entire place really stood out.
The food and drinks were nothing short of exceptional — every bite and sip was bursting with flavor and clearly crafted with care. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, making the evening that much more enjoyable.
But the true highlight of our visit was our server, Olivia. She was, hands down, the best server I’ve ever had. Olivia went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and radiating such positive energy that she truly elevated the whole experience. She made us feel valued and welcome in a way that’s rare to find.
Between the incredible food, the phenomenal staff, and the outstanding service from Olivia, I can confidently say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats to anyone visiting Rehoboth Beach!
