We had gone to Dos Locos for years under the original owners and loved it. Earlier this week, we did carry out and the food was fine (nothing amazing but also not bad). Last night we went to dine in and were seated quickly but then it went south. Took our drink order and that was it. Table seated after us had drink order, chips and salsa and had placed their dinner order and we still hadn’t seen our server. Table next to us was dealing with the same as us. Other people came in and were told there was a wait for a table despite several open tables - lack of help and poor service makes this one we won’t be back to.

Let me say this is only based on sitting at the bar for drinks and some chips & queso, so maybe their entrees and actual restaurant service is better. Ordered an orange crush that the menu literally says is “fresh squeezed” orange juice, but it definitely came out of a carton of cheap juice from concentrate. (I could taste it immediately, then saw the bartender making more of the same.) Also ordered chips and queso - the chips were good and crispy but the queso was definitely subpar. The bartender was friendly the two times we spoke with him. Hopefully the restaurant experience is better than the bar experience!

Where do we even start. The hair in my daughters steak, store bought tasting salsa, or the concerningly sticky tables with unknown substances. “Dos Locos” really lived up to their name… these people are “too crazy” for the restaurant industry. After leaving the restaurant today I couldn’t even recognize the delicious restaurant that my family used to love just last year. We walk in and nobody is there to seat us for ten minutes. Eventually, we are finally seated it is in the bar with my 4 underage girls. After having to ask the bartender to seat us in the dining room we only noticed 2 waiters handling the whole restaurant. There is NO WAY the salsa and queso were homemade!!! The salsa simply tasted like puréed tomatoes from a can and the queso was not only bland, cold, and unappetizing but the portion sizes would not even be enough for a toddler. This place has the worst guacamole I’ve ever tasted. Not only did it start browning minutes after receiving it, it was warm and did not contain even a hint of lime. Finally the food came after much confusion and misinformation from our servers. The enchiladas were even more disappointing than I am to my parents. If that is not awful enough my poor daughter received her chewy steak and noticed an unnaturally long piece of hair inside! We are not even close to finishing this review. The service was horrible. We didn’t receive napkins or utensils until after our main course came. Please note that we had to wipe our hands on our clothing during the full first course. If you could even call that a course. Shouldn’t something as simple as water be a give in? Well not at Dos Locos. We had to repeatedly ask for a substance that keeps alive. INSANITY! We will NOT be coming back here.

I didn't have a chance to try the food, I had my drink and after an hour they asked me \\\"what I can do for you\\\".Lousy staff, dirty table, realy bad, bad experience .

We have gone to Dos Locos several times over our past 3 visits to Rehoboth Beach and have been very satisfied with the food, drinks, and service each time. Ken took care of us this most recent visit, but Andrea was there for us in December during our last visit, and they both were very friendly, professional and excellent servers. The margaritas are good and the fajitas are over the top with large portions of very tasty food. If you're looking for some really good Mexican on Rehoboth Avenue, give this place a try!

Food was horrible barely touched it and salsa verde tasted old, wish I would of read the reviews before walking into this place. It was not worth $73 at all, very disappointed.

Food was just okay. The service was not that great. I had been here years ago and it was better.

I was very impressed by Dos Locos. I thought it would be one of those run of the mill Mexican restaurants by the shore. It could not be anything further than that. The food and the service could not have been better. Our family had such a nice meal here. We started off with baskets of chips and salsa and we went through three baskets of the chips. I had a Strawberry Margarita for a drink on the rocks that was really good. The drink had some kick to it and it was served in a large glass that must have been a double drink. It tasted really good and was the perfect buzz. I had a Shrimp Quesadilla with a side salad with Ceasar Dressing that was the perfect portion and was so perfectly cooked. The dish was loaded with freshly grilled and sweet shrimp and cheese. I thought the food was really good and the portion size was perfect for lunch. It was crisp and so perfectly cooked. The service could not have been friendlier and we were served by a woman who was Romanian. That was an interesting twist to a Mexican restaurant. It was the perfect Christmas dinner and I really enjoyed it. It was one of the few restaurants open on Christmas day.

This was our 1st visit. The menu is full of amazing sounding dishes. It took a few to decide what to get. We each ordered something different so we could give each other tastes. The food was amazing and the portions were large. We've decided that we have to return to try more. Our server was very pleasant and helpful.

Horrendous food, pricey, awful margarita. Barely got any service. Table was sticky like it had not been cleaned. Do not waste your money.

We ate here for dinner tonight. Very good service. Excellent food. Reasonable priced. The -2- couples behind us were very loud. Chips were salty.

We stopped in for a margarita and appetizer during happy hour. We have always visited Dos Locos. Our waitress got our order wrong. We Ordered soft not hard tacos. We ordered deconstructed pork tacos and beef came instead. . The pork was ok but in past was better. The margaritas were just weak. We had to find our waitress to pay. We have always had great meals there. Won’t go back.
