When I order queso at a Mexican restaurant, I don't expect fake cheese from a can. And since when is mozzarella cheese used on burritos? DOS LOCOS isn't what it used to be.

Always highlight of our trip. The big mamma margaritas are awesome. Food is delicious and everything is reasonably priced for the area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere

We got there and waited for 10 minutes. They sat us down and got our drink orders. Like 20 minutes later, we got our drinks. The complementary chips you get at the beginning did not get to us until 10 minutes after we got our drinks. The chips and salsa had to be the worst I've ever had. Then, an hour in, they took our order. 5 minutes later, we got our food. 5 MINUTES??? They microwaved our food. Portions were dinky. Food was expensive. STAY AWAY.

Ok....so it was my first time. I already had the expectation of a tourist type restaurant... meaning, I knew it wouldn't be authentic Mexican food and price didn't equal quantity. My waiter was to the point, but very patient ( we couldn't figure out what we wanted and he stopped by like 3 times). I got 12 mini tacos with some sauce...they were definitely the store bought frozen quality. I assume we get free salsa and nachos, because they were brought out without ordering. But I ordered guacamole and chips and just got the guacamole. My husband and son got chicken breast with 2 sides. Husband got rice and beans. When he went to order the 2nd side, he was told that rice was one side and beans were the other. My son got the same with the baked potato and black beans. He got sour cream and butter with it..no cheese. Both got one chicken breast slice in half. I reserved a table, but when I got here the restaurant had one table with 3 guest, rest of the dining area was empty. Y'all would be great if you put more effort into your food. Beautiful restaurant, love the ocean sounds, good service. Quantity and quality of food needs an upgrade. Extend your happy hour to dine in guests, not just at the bar, if they're drunk enough, they will buy the food no matter the quantity or quality..true story. Lol.

I usually NEVER go out to Mexican restaurants because I know they’re usually never good and I wish I didn’t come here we just didn’t have a lot of options. The tacos were terrible especially the carne asadas ones, the meat was very dry and no flavor to them. El presidente fajita is $49 and I think that’s absolutely crazy. It was not good at all and was not big enough for how expensive it is. Never coming here again.

The waitress was nice, but the manager or head waiter was NOT. My son wanted a bowl or plate of rice, shredded lettuce, tomato and guacamole. I was rudely told they couldn’t make this ???? Haha and then yelled at to order something that was actually on the menu. After that, the rest of the 10 people ordered, they made it and brought it all out and then came over to me and said “what did you want to order for your son and husband?” I said well nothing. We are all eating. They will go eat a rice bowl somewhere else. They didn’t even care. I paid $60 for tacos and a quesadilla. I won’t go back. It was the rudeness. The women’s bathroom only had one working stall and one soap dispenser broken and no toilet paper. In a Mexican restaurant!!!
Last time eating there and I’ve been there most years.

Service was extremely slow. It was just our server because I saw others working much more efficiently.

Very disappointed!! I ordered the mini tacos, they were neither chicken nor beef as described on the menu. They were refried bean! Not even close to what was described on the menu! No attempt to make them right. Husband had the pineapple fajitas. It was like a pineapple soup! Veg, shrimp, pineapple chucks were floating in so much pineapple juice it was impossible to make to tortilla fajita wrap! No side of rice, beans, sour cream, etc. The bartender struggled to make a frozen non-alcoholic margarita. Then the waitress (who spoke poor English) gave it to husband telling him it was his him orange creme! And now, I’m having diarrhea from this encounter. After eating there since the day they opened, I will not be back.

Opentable Diner

Two big fans blasting cold air onto us. I don't know why when there was no one really in the room. Finally, the server turned them off. The maitre d was unfriendly and looked annoyed the whole time we were there.

The food tasted microwaved but was very costly. The waitress and staff was very friendly and nice and the setting was good. Overall I did not feel like it was worth what we paid.
