Have tried a few things on the menu but their Nashville Chicken sandwich with hot sauce, coleslaw and crispy potato chips is bangin'! Full of flavor, delicious and always hot when it gets to the table. Wish they could add a small container of Mike's Hot Honey on the side to drizzle onto the chicken. ?

This place was a definite let down. I saw the good reviews and wanted to stop by somewhere near the beach. 1. Had to walk to the bar to ask to be seated because there was no one at the hostess stand2. The lady who was decent was getting off her shift and we got another guy who looked stoned and not dedicated to his job at all. He came to our table several times and didn’t clear the dirty plates from the appetizer nor ask for our water refills. 3. The main I ordered was a mess of flavors. Delmarva chicken was just try hard and the chef doesn’t seem like he knows what he’s doing at all. Seasonal veggies were just cauliflower and sweet potato, the frozen garlic mashed potatoes that was obviously reheated tasted sour and the chicken just looked like it’s been through things. I lost my appetite but my husband discouraged me from complaining because they get stingy in off season and nothing would happen. I asked to have a to-go box and the server took no interest in how I found the food since I hardly took 2 bites of it. 4. The server brought back a box that was too small for the plate so we had to ask for another. 5. When we left, I noticed the dead leaf that I saw upon entering the establishment more than an hour prior was still there, when right in the middle of the floor, next to the tables.Summary: what a pretentious place for less than mediocre food, the best thing they have going for them is the decor and atmosphere they try to create yet failed. Also saw a man walking in (in his pajamas) looking like he was sleep walking and exiting 15 mins later.

We really enjoyed our dining experience. Our drinks were well made. The deviled eggs were tasty.. The crab cakes were all meat and no filler, the shrimp and grits were great-maybe heavy on the tomato. The entire restaurant atmosphere smells amazing. The wait staff were top notch. I am looking forward to a return trip.

Stumbled onto Downtown Blues tonight. So good. Kellianne was our server and was fantastic. Food was on point. Loved the ribs and my hubby devoured his pulled pork and brisket. Sorry no pics...the scraps would not be a good look...

I’ve eaten at the Lewes Bethany Blues location on Rt 1 many times…& always liked it. Attended a community happy hour at this location in November. The drinks were good & so decided to try dinner here. First the good: cute, intimate place & so I wanted to like it. The not so good: the food—just OK. As another reviewer pointed out due to size they most likely bring the food in from the Lewes location…which would explain why the pulled pork was dry as shoe leather & tasted like it had been sitting in a warming try. I mean if a BBQ joint cant make good pulled pork…well you get the idea. The place recently opened so maybe they still need to iron out the kinks but at this point I have to say I’d rather stick with the Rt 1/Lewes location.

DON'T get a booth there is not enough room between the seat and the table top. I'm a about 195lbs and 6' average build. Table top was cutting into my stomach the whole time and made for very uncomfortable dining experience. Probably won't go back, food was hit and miss.

Happy hour specials are great. Food was delicious and prices were even better. Can’t beat the $5 birria taco. Kudos to the chef!
